"Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups "

"Always love staying here, location and facilities are waaaayyyy above average!"

"Great place for our UP adventure. Loved how close the house was to Lake Superior coastline, and the place served as a great ‘home-base’ during our activities and travels. We had 4 adults, so the bed situation was fine. Could’ve used AC during our stay given the heat, but it was peak summer. The downstairs toilet is a trip to behold. Consider this a 1.25 bathroom property :)"

"This was our second time staying at this property. The property is nicer than pictures show, clean, and well stocked with plenty of room for our group of 4. Back yard has a great firepit and chairs, privacy, and we could feel like we were in a cabin in the woods. Owners are very responsive. Only a couple miles from the beautiful Porcupine Mountains Wilderness area!"

"Very cozy place. Loved the hot tub, loved cooking on the grill! Stocked kitchen all you have to do is bring your own food. We brought our family pet dog with us and he loved being welcome. Definitely will be visiting again in the future!"

"Our family group of four had a delightful time at this Ontonagon property. Really cool floor plan, clean, updated with all the amenities in kitchen and living areas. And we enjoyed mornings and evenings on the enclosed front porch. A short walk to Lake Superior, a short drive to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park (highly recommend the Escarpment and Presque Isle River loop hikes) and a worth-the-trip drive to Houghton (highly recommend the Quincy Mine tour). Will hope for a repeat...

"Great location. Easy access to snowmobile trails. Plenty of restaurants around the area. House was perfect for our group. Plenty of trailer parking. Will be back."
