"We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! "We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again"

"My visit was an absolute pleasure to be there, host was awesome. There was a some issue with booking but host was quickly sorted out. Property was immaculately cleaned, maintained and beautifully picturesque village. Food was awesome too. Huge thank you for an awesome experience. "Gorgeous hotel room right in the heart of Marlborough! We booked the room with the golden bath which was such a treat. The breakfast offering was very generous and the room had everything you could need (it would be helpful to have some bath products by the side of the bath, as the shower gel etc in the shower were attached to the wall which made it tricky). Otherwise 10/10!"

"Hotel staff and rooms were fine but unfortunately the food in the restaurant was not! We were there to celebrate our daughter’s 50th birthday and bitterly disappointed. My food was cold because I had to wait so long for my side order so ended up sending it back. Others food was Luke warm. I did complain the next day and the operations manager very kindly refunded the bottle of champagne to us. Breakfast was ok and a good variety. Hence we didn’t eat there on our second night. "
