Perfect for a family holiday. We had two families staying here together, children age range 6- 12years old, there was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. Beautifully presented.

Whitby gathering
Misty Cottage lived up to expectations, a beautiful place with all amenities and in a fantastic spot a stones throw from the coastal path into Whitby centre. The layout suited our family party perfectly, the kitchen & dining space were especially good together

We all had a fabulous week at Misty cottage celebrating my 50th . 3 generations of family and a dog. Plenty of space for everyone, a very well equipped kitchen , all bedrooms beautiful. Great location, few minutes from the beach , 20 min walk into Whitby and a pub next door. Will definitely recommend this place, a great place to stay

Great place, great location, beautifully decorated
Such a beautiful place and had everything there needed to get you going. Only a short walk to a beautiful clean beach when the tide goes out and close to shops and lidi to get some shopping in. Would definitely stay here again. Think it would be lovely in winter also.

Our third stay here, near beach and Whitby. Plenty of off street parking. Great garden, next to the White House Inn.
Everything is of a very high standard, great beds and bedding. Highly recommended

Lovely seaside cottage
Misty Cottage was lovely for our group (2 families, with four adults and 3 children). The cottage is lovely and very well-provisioned, and the location is fantastic. It was a good location to explore Whitby and North Yorkshire. Thanks for your hospitality and good communication!

Lovely Stay Near Beach and Town
We very much enjoyed our stay in Whitby, the house had enough space for 3 generations to cohabit without killing each other lol. The house is well equipped and nice to have rooms accessible without having to take a lot of stairs. Location is perfect for walking into town or the beach as long as you don’t mind a hike back up or several sets of stairs but there are options to get there is you have more limited mobility.

Family holiday
The house suited us perfectly: the location is close to the sea with lovely views; the standard of the rooms, facilities etc is outstanding; the host was very helpful. A particularly nice touch is that there was coffee, fruit, a bottle of wine, cakes and biscuits, which made us feel very welcome.We all had a wonderful time even though though the weather wasn't great for the last few days. We'd like to come again next year.

Perfect Stay at Misty Cottage
We spent a week at Misty Cottage and found it ideal. It is nicely situated across the road from a good pub/restaurant and close to a walk into Whitby with views of the sea. The decor is attractive, it is well outfitted, the beds are comfortable and there was a lovely gift basket waiting for us when we arrived. We would definitely stay there again!

Excellent Stay
The property is exceptional with very high quality finishes throughout and very well equipped you will want for nothing.
The bed linen and towels are all of a very good quality it’s better than staying in a 5 star hotel.

Very well placed property between Whitby and Sandsend. Excellent walking. Very quiet. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Well equipped and relaxing. Highly recommend a stay here.

Stunning property, stunning location
Everything you could want in a holiday let, and more. Plenty of space to socialise, although the middle floor has an unfortunate layout from a seating perspective.
We loved the property and location, and would t hesitate to book again in the future

Family trip
3 generations (6 adults) and the dog, lovely place, plenty room for everyone. Whitby has plenty to do and is very dog friendly. We ate twice at the Inn across the road. There is little mention of the dog secure back garden, it’s small but there is a deck and seating. Plenty movies and games too. Everything was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.
