There was nothing bad, however the service from Matthew and Craig, breakfast, location and the small touches in our room were superb. We will go back again. Totally recommended.

Lovely place

Wow, beautiful B&B Craig and Mathew are great hosts, their property is in a great location close to Whitby centre. Breakfast choice is second to none and well presented. Craig was especially helpful and friendly upon our arrival. Thoroughly recommend this place. Thanks Derek and Bernie

Highly recommended

A lovely weekend staying at Dillon's of Whitby. Everything about Dillon's is 5 star! The rooms are amazing, the food fabulous and the hosts outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble, Matt and Craig are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and everything was done with a smile .

Can’t praise this place enough

From the lovely cheery welcome, carrying our (excessive!) luggage & the tea & cake on arrival, to the excellent breakfast menu, ever-helpful attitude & beautiful doggies - we loved this place so much we have already booked our next stay! Thanks so much guys!

Best B&B in Whitby

From the first moment we arrived we were treated to the best stay in any B&B we have visited. Matt and Craig made us most welcome, they couldn't have done more to make our stay better. The breakfasts were the best ever; the full Yorkshire breakfast was cooked to perfection. The choice was of breakfasts was amazing for such a small venue. From cereals to full breakfast, kippers and black pudding. and as much tea and coffee you could ever want. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a fantastic king size bed that was very comfortable. I don't there is anything negative I could say about Dillons, and I would recommend Dillons to nay of my friends and relatives to stay in.

R & R in Whitby

Fantastic little B&B just 5 minutes from Whitby town centre. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left nothing was too much trouble. We arrived to a lovely welcome of lemon drizzle cake and a much needed cup of tea. The room was a beautiful double on suite at the back of the house. Breakfast was beautifully cooked & presented every day with a good menu to choose from. The hosts are only to willing to share their vast knowledge of Whitby and the surrounding area should you ask. There are so many little extra touches that make this B&B a special place to stay. We certainly will be back again.

Friendly B&B close to town centre and harbour

We booked 4 nights at Dillons in Whitby. We travelled by train and walked with bags up a slight hill to the B&B where we were greeted by owner Craig. Our room was up one flight of stairs and had a shower/loo, TV, large comfortable bed and storage space for clothes and bags. Breakfast was downstairs in the dining room. A great choice of cereals, toast, full cooked breakfast if you want it. Opposite is Pannett Park, one of Whitby's gems with Museum and Art Gallery, both well worth a visit.

Cool,Friendly and Comfortable Whitby Hospitality.

It was a long drive (four and a half hours),but what the next few days offered were worth it. Check in was easy and without fuss by Matthew. We were offered a very welcomed pot of tea with biscuits and lemon sponge cake. Then Matthew told us the places to visit, eat and drink, all within walking distance. There is room for 3 cars at the front drive but there are places nearby to park too. This B&B is run by Matthew and Craig and both made us very welcomed. The room is clean, with a nice clean shower room/ toilet. The towels were soft and fluffy and lovely toiletries. The bed is comfortable with enough pillows and more cushions. Breakfast is unhurried and plenty to eat , cereals plus homemade compote of different varieties, full Yorkshire b/fast or simply eggs and more. There is tea/coffee making facilities in the room and milk and biscuits are provided for your afternoon tea in the room- a nice gesture Matthew and Craig are real gems!

Lovely Stay at this Gem of a B&B

Lovely stay at this gem of a B&B. The hosts were very attentive, breakfast was lovely and the room was cosy and comfortable. Located just 5 minutes walk from the main tourist area of Whitby and just across the road from a lovely park which we didn't know existed. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful, quality B&B

Stayed here for 3 nights and from the moment we booked it, we couldn't have ask for a better service. Within days we had an email from Craig and Matthew, thanking us for booking with them and giving us some info to help make our arrival easier. When we arrived, we were greeted by Craig, who instantly offered us refreshments after our journey from South Wales. He gave us a quick explanation about all the necessities of the B&B, breakfast time, keys, etc. We were then shown our room (no 2) on first floor, it was spacious, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and the quality of linen etc was plain to see. There was a nice ensuite shower room, again very clean and nicely decorated. The room also had a TV and coffee/tea making facilities. Breakfast was a delight, for the first couple of days, there was only one other couple staying, so Craig was able to spend time talking about the locality and offering plenty of advice and tips about all the things to do in the area. Matthew seemed to be the main chef but we did meet him a couple of times and he again was a pleasure to deal with and also very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast menu is quite extensive and has something to suit everyone, with the added bonus of a special everyday....the quality of the products used was very high and i believe was sourced from the locality were possible. All in all, we highly recommend this B&B, it maybe seem a little bit more pricey than other B&Bs, but is well worth it....

Quality place to stay

The hosts were welcoming, warm, accodating and very locally knowledgable. The breakfast was tasty and lots of choice and of good quality. Nothing was an effort - definitely recomend this place to stay - we’ll worth the money.

Fabulous B&B

Matthew & Craig are wonderful hosts. The rooms are decadently furnished. The beds are SO comfy and the breakfast experience divine. The location of the property is ideal very close to the centre of Whitby (3 mins walk) but just far enough away to not have any noise disturbance. I would highly recommend Dillions B&B. We are already looking to stay here again.

50th Birthday 2 night stay

We had a wonderful stay at Dillon’s. From the moment Craig opened the door to greet us with a big smile everything was superb. Nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was outstanding, the rooms first class and the attention to detail was second to none. Both Mathew and Craig were the perfect hosts.
