"Great location for getting around Whitby. Shame about lack of car parking. Shower drain in our room was prone to blocking. Concerned it might flood the downstairs. We did mention it to staff. Overall a pleasant stay. Might be an idea to mention the stairs leading to upper room as less mobile guests may struggle"

"Free parking in a smallish off road private parking area opposite. Check in was quick with very friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size, clean, modern and with all the amenities you need. Breakfast was outstanding! All waitress served off a comprehensive menu in a well laid out dining room with attention to detail. The cooked breakfast was excellent and overall what you would expect from a very high end hotel really. I did not have dinner so cannot comment much on that except it was £30...

"The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. "Absolutely lovely cottage, clean, cosy and in the perfect location. We have had a great time. Very steep stairs inside the property and a fairly short bed so if you are super tall with mobility problems it might be difficult but for us it was perfect."
