2 separate families (Mid 40s), with kids on spring break (12-15).
We are from Florida and head to a winter destination every spring break. This house was very nice and exactly what we needed. The check-in process was interesting (not bad) I had just never needed to verify ahead. The location was very easy to get to off the highway. The parking space was big enough for 2 large SUV's (Denali and a Ford Expedition) The mud room downstairs was great to come home and sling the boots on the drivers, all the cubbies for 8 people, the only thing that was weird or missing was ski / board holders - so we just left them in the back of the SUV's) The proximity to the mountain was the best thing - it was a 6-7 minute drive. The house was fully stocked with all the things we needed (except some storage containers for leftovers, and there was no colander to strain anything like spaghetti or wash fruits in - but we made due with the salad spinner - haha). The Stairs, omg, be prepared to get your steps in - it's 4 real full levels of stairs from basement to top. If you can't do stairs or are older this isn't for you. The bedrooms are great - the 2 separate masters are PERFECT for 2 separate families. Stuck the kids in the other 2 rooms and bango we were golden. The seperate living rooms are perfect also for kids / adults or men / women who don't agree on a tv station (it was the start of march madness). The hot tub was perfect for the kiddos to relax after a day on the mountain. The kitchen was great for 8, the table was perfect for all of us to have a sit down dinner, it was just a wonderful experience. We didn't need a single thing that wasn't in front of us. I've had other VRBO's that we needed to get paper towel, or laundry detergent, or dishwater stuff, or whatever whatever. This was ALL setup from top to bottom, and the beds we're comfortable as can be. I loved it. The wine fridge, the fireplaces, everything was pristine for us.
5/5 Would stay here again for a mountain escape.
