    This unique, one bedroom + loft condominium at Powderhorn has a large wraparound balcony offering views and afternoon sun. Powderhorn 303 is a spacious end unit with high vaulted ceilings and a sleeping loft accessed by a spiral staircase. The downstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed and ensuite bath complete with jetted bathtub. There is also a two-sided, gas fireplace that can be enjoyed from either the bedroom, or adjacent living area. The upstairs loft features a queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom and there is a sofabed in the living area making this property a comfortable option for up to six people.

    Other highlights in this Blackcomb Benchlands vacation rental include a fully equipped kitchen, in-suite washer & dryer, wooden blinds throughout and a BBQ on the balcony. This four-season escape at Powderhorn is warm and inviting and even includes great common area amenities such as the roof-top common area hot tub.

    Whistler’s Powderhorn building is located directly on the free shuttle route for easy access to Whistler Village and guests can walk to the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain in under five minutes.

Quiet and convenient

Great location just outside the main village makes for a quiet yet convenient stay. Nice corner unit with a wrap-around deck. Beds were comfortable enough and the property was clean. Would recommend overall.

Whistler - March Break 2023

Property was great. Short walk to the gondola, village... Super wrap around deck. Lots of natural light (loved the time change so we had more daylight hours apres ski) and roof top hot tub was neat as well (wonderful view of mountains. Whistler Superior staff were super friendly.

Apartment is as described and as shown in the pictures. Everything was great. The location is quite good too, with a free shuttle stop right in front of the building and the slope just above the Blackcomb lift only a couple of 100s of meters walk away. The big supermarket is a bit far away, so important to time it with the shuttle schedules (on Google Maps), but once you get that, it's quite easy.

Needs small infusion of money

Great location. Building in good shape. Condo layout is great and overall good shape. A bit dated kitchen/bath showing some age. Bathroom sink very slow to drain. Kitchen amenities poor; very limited glassware, grandmas assortment of miscellaneous old cutlery/ceramics, few pots-pans-trays etc, a couple of dull chefs knives, no oven mitts, salt-pepper-olive oil and nothing else, microwave display is shot, great toaster however! BBQ is a joke. Small, old and rusted. Propane canister empty. Needs newer TV that is more WiFi/phone casting friendly. Master mattress cheap. Pullout mattress very thin but still slept well. Could remedy most problems for 3 or 4 $K

Property is old and needs repair. Bathroom sink clogged on arrival. Hot water tap in bathroom didn't work. Shower head sprayed everywhere and needs to be replaced. Faucet in kitchen is broken. Pull out sofa bed is not fit to sleep on. Mattress is just a bed of springs. Master bedroom bed is a double and not a queen as advertised. Same with other bed in the loft: its a double and not a queen. No patio furniture of any kind on the deck. Patio deck is filthy. I wasted my money in this rental.

Good Location but needs better care.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was happy with your location, amenities and the surrounding area of the Powderhorn #303 property. There were minor issues with the lack of dish washing soap, spatula flipper, and very rough looking BBQ. Our main concern was noticed on the final morning as we stripped the bed in the main bedroom. In the morning light with all the sheets pulled off it was noticed that there was a great deal of hair in the linens that was black in colour and was not from our use. It was obvious these sheets were not laundered prior to arrival or someone had been sleeping in the room even though we were told our room was ready at around 12:30 pm before the 4 pm check in time. All members in our group felt this was not an acceptable standard and left a poor view on what was otherwise a good stay.

It is faster to walk down the slope to Blackcomb village than to catch the bus. Washer & dryer in the apartment is a bonus as well as hot tub on the roof.

Stop is outside front door a few steps. The apartment was clean, but could use more lamps and several light bulbs were out and a kitchen outlet weren't working. Note the spiral stairs to loft are narrow and challenging for fit people with good balance to haul suitcases up. The beds were very soft.

Cosy apartment close to ski trail

Though not in the centre of the village, everything was within walking distance, including a ski trail. The apartment was cosy. I would like to give some tips for improving the apartment: - the beds are old and so are the mattresses. The beds are also on wheels, one of which was even broken. New beds would hugely increase the comfort of the apartment. - the location of the guest ski locker is not clear, especially for guests arriving by public transport, like us (it is located in the guest garage). Should be signposted. - the fire place does not seem to work (operated on gas) - the bed lights are old and some do not work - the microwave display does not worm - an extra toilet brush for the second toilet would be nice
