I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding our recent stay. We chose this property and paid a premium rate for a ski-in/ski-out experience in Whistler, but the stay did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the unit was substandard. My wife washed the kitchen floor, there was no body wash in the master shower, and my son cleaned cobwebs from the light fixtures. Additionally, the external garage door opener was non-functional; we were informed this is a known issue the owner has declined to repair for years. Furthermore, the master bedroom television malfunctioned, it would go black every couple of minutes before turning itself back on, it required two days and two visits from teh maintenance team to replace the HDMI cables. Regarding the ski-in/ski-out access: navigating under a closed slope rope and skiing down an ungroomed rocky trail to a "ski at your own risk" catwalk does not align with how this property is marketed. Regardless of snow conditions, the access was last week was unskiable for members of our party who are intermediate skiers, and I ended up driving the group to and from the slopes every day. The most serious issue was a flood caused by a severely clogged shower drain, which resulted in water running into the bathroom and 6 feet into the master bedroom. Industrial equipment had to be brought in to dry everything.
