The house was in great position and had everything you could need. Did not use any food etc as we took our own. We would definately go back again and recommend it.

Home away from home

My family absolutely loved it here! Perfect spot, felt so homey and had everything (did not even know) we need. The beach is stunning. Quiet, serene, relaxed experience. Would certainly go back again. :) Thank you!

Great bach close to the beach

We stayed for a week and were very happy with our stay. The bach was tidy and very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. The host was very helpful and was quick to answer any questions we had. The location is a very short walk to the beach so it was great to hear the surf from the bach. Whiritoa is a nice quiet little community but only 14 minutes drive from Whangamata. The beach is beautiful but steep so stay between the flags or head to the lovely lagoon at the northern end. I highly recommend the walk to Waimama Bay which is gorgeous and has amazing pohutukawa trees.

Whiritoa accommodation

The property owner kept in touch and was so responsive. Their accommodation is so spacious and absolutely beautiful! The moe is a 2 minute walk to Whiritoa beach. We were blown away to see ample board games which we absolutely enjoyed playing and it gave our weekend away that extra added touch! Will definitely be back

The perfect getaway

The property was so much more than we expected, clean, tidy and perfectly located. Owners were easy to deal with. Hopefully we'll be coming back. Give Whiritoa a try, it truly is the hidden gem of the Coromandel.

Wonderful Bach in a corner of coromandel paradise. Quiet cul de sac, cute townlet, magical beach

We’ve had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Loved the bbq, outdoor shower and that it’s only 3 min walk from the beach. One of our young adult missed having wifi and cellphone coverage but we thought that was character-building

Home away from home

We had our daughter and her young family stay with us at this property (4 adults, 2 kids - 5 and 9. Set up was perfect, plenty of toys to keep kids occupied until 7am when the adults got up. Kitchen well stocked with cookware and utensils for a great Sunday morning cooked breakfast. Beach was beautiful, hop skip and a jump away. We only wished we had booked for longer and had more time to relax here.
