Nice wee secluded bay we came across whilst on our way to the lovely Paraawanui Trek
Welcome to Karikari Beach on the beautiful Peninsula in the Far North! You can easily see why I love coming home to this paradise. This little gem is an isolated beach which you can access from two walkways. On the day this photo was taken, we'd done a small trek through farmland onto the beach and followed it close to the end of the Southern side of the beach, where you will find the beautiful Puheke Mountain. On our way back, we were lucky enough to be entertained by a pod of around 13 dolphins who were enjoying the warm waters. We are truly blessed to have so many stunning beaches on Karikari Peninsula, the only difficult choice is where to go! #blue #discovery #hot

The room was spacious but tired and needs upgrade. TV was tiny and had lines through the picture. Dinner at the restaurant was tasty.

Wonderful classic Kiwi bach. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday without the inflated price tag. Host was awesome, beach was awesome, fishing was awesome. If you're wanting a practical holiday stay, its excellent value.
