Great space retreat

Really enjoyed our stay here, it jad a ll we needed for 4 besties to get away, chill and relax. Ocean Beach nearby was cool and recommend the Parua Bay oysters, the street across from Parua Bay 4 square. Thank you.

Perfect Location to Watch the Bay!

When you want to be near a beach, some walking trails, a cafe, the mountains and watch the boats on the water - this is it! Just a pity it rained the whole time we were there! The property is set up as a home from home and has everything we needed to cook a roast, open a bottle of wine or sit on the verandah with a hot cuppa and watch the water (and the rain). There were even some games for the kids and some books to snuggle down with!Our friendly hosts kept us in the loop from the moment we made our booking and everything was so easy!

Beautiful view & peaceful location.

Great location with fantastic views. Plenty of room for extended family or friends. Has everything you need & a good shower too! Hosts kept us well informed. There’s enough things to do in the area e.g good cafes, bakery, convenience store and a bar/restaurant…or just picnic in the many bays. Very relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Lovely Spot

We spent 11 nights in Whangārei Heads in the sun at this batch and it was great. I'd recommend Paul and Rose's place! It was spacious for two of us, with a comfortable bed and couches! Easy enough to work from the dining table and make the most of the sun during lunch or after work. All the things you'd expect in the kitchen and the laundry as well. Really easy to get out and explore other places from here as well as get into Whangārei.Thanks for a lovely stay and we'd be back in a heartbeat.

Paradise in Taurikura

Our stay at Rose's Retreat was wonderful. The bay and all the surroundings were tranquil and relaxing. The house was well appointed, clean and tidy. Fantastic location, close to lots of beautiful bays, beaches and scenic walks.

Calm home with a view

Great location with a lovely view. House had plenty of space inside and a front and back yard for our children to play. House was equipped with all we needed. A small playground park and calm beach across the street, but our favorite ocean spot was a quick 8min drive to Ocean beach for soft sand and waves for bodyboarding.We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing host!

Rose went above and beyond to be accomodating to us! Great communication and easy access to property. Perfect for families with young children, great location for little walks and adventures. Clean house, comfy beds. Definitely recommend!

We had a beautiful time here - amazing sunsets each night, the house was well equipped and the owners were great to communicate with. Great kayaking on a flat bay, and nearby to great snorkelling along smugglers bay. Thanks Rose 😊

Fantastic Quintessential Kiwi Bach

Perfect for what we wanted on our travels. Great communication and easy access. Hosts were friendly and easy to deal with. House was very clean and has been modernised to a lovely standard. It had everything a family needs and is in a great spot. Fantastic view of the water and perfect place to relax and unwind. Very close to great beaches and walks. We had a great time and highly recommend.
