    Close to town, this vacation home is nestled in the beautiful Hiawatha National Forest and situated on 100' of sandy beach frontage on Powell Lake, a spring fed lake.

    Recreational trails (biking, hiking and snowmobile), excellent hunting and fishing are within 50' of the home or venture out and explore the hundreds of other lakes, streams and waterfalls that surround you.

    Many have relished in the beautiful summers, viewed the breathtaking fall colors or enjoyed winter recreation in Munising, known as the midwest capital for snowmobiling, cross country skiing and ice fishing.

Everything about this trip was amazing. The hosts were quick to respond to my questions and the house is exactly as advertised. This was our second stay and we especially love the kayak, the master bedroom, the beautiful deck, and the location - isolated, but not too isolated. 10/10 highly recommend.

The home and property were clean, the host was easy to chat with when needed, and the view was beautiful. We highly recommend this home for families or anyone looking for a real retreat. It’s closeness to the National Lakeshore was great as well. Our family had a wonderful time away at this home.

Loved this rental, perfect for our family of 8. The lake was beautiful, the location is great! The house was clean and everything we needed was provided. Loved the kayak and paddle boat. We will definitely be back!!

Very Serene

This cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The view is spectacular!

Gorgeous house on a lake

Clean, beautiful home with a great view. Kayak and paddle boat to use. Such a great place to stay. The pictures don't do it justice, much nicer than it looks. Would definitely stay again

Great property! The refrigerator is large. Three full bathrooms were great for a large group. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Plenty of room around the fire pit. The water was very clear. Peaceful! Would stay here again.

Lovely spot for our trip!

This was a perfect spot for our trip to the UP. We wanted to focus on the Pictured Rocks area, and this cottage was in the perfect location. The sunrises over the lake from the master bedroom were beautiful! The lake was a perfect size for our paddleboards and to use the kayak and pedal boat provided. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay!

Wonderful Home, Great Views.

We very much enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. The views were outstanding, really love the sunrise over the lake from the master bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking in. The home was very convenient to Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Would highly recommend this home.

Great Get Away

We can’t say enough about this place! It was exactly what we needed for our group! Everything was clean and so well stocked. Communication with the property owner was quick and easy. We had such a great experience, we will definitely be back again!

Great Time!

We had a great time at this property. Location was great for visiting picture rocks and many other attractions. Beds were super comfortable and house was well supplied with everything we needed. The kids loved the lake and use of the paddle boat, kayak, and lily pad. They could have just stayed and played at the property the whole time. Would recommend 👌

Great place

Plenty of room for our family. House was nice and kitchen had everything we needed. Location was very convenient for pictured rocks. Don't let the lack of AC scare you away from this gem. Shaded lot and cool UP temps it was very comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay close to all the sites near Munising.

We visited many local falls, took a day trip to Macinac Island and enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing on Powell lake. We even met a few of the people who live on the lake while fishing. Great neighbors and community to stay. Bring bug spray, the bugs can be a nusance but overall our stay was fantastic! Would recommend an air conditioning unit for both of the upper floors in the summer but everything was to our liking otherwise.

GREAT GET AWAY FOR ANYONE

We enjoyed our stay at loguns landing. We had a group of eight seniors. We trail ride during the day and relax at the house in the evening. Plenty of room to relax and socialize. Lots of kitchen supplies for cooking needs, comfortable beds and beautiful views on the lake. Highly recommend this rental.

This place was perfect for our family trip! We had 5 adults & 1 teenager. Each floor allowed for privacy and had a separate bathroom. Starting with the walkout basement - queen size bedrm, bathroom with large shower stall, living room with TV, washer/dryer, and walkout deck with ground access to lake and dock. Main floor - queen size bedrm, bathroom with tub/shower, large open concept family space with sunken living room and kitchen fully stocked with essentials for eating & cooking, ample seating, and a deck that overlooks the lake with additional outdoor table/seating. Top floor - king size bdrm & adjoining bathroom with huge tub/shower, large window with lake view (stunning sunrise views!!!), at the top of stairs the landing includes 2 twin beds and a separate bedrm with 2 twin beds. Access to bathroom on this floor is thru the main bedroom. The whole house is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and lots of ample space in every room. The garage is a plus, especially for anyone that may need to store extras while on vacation such as bikes. The dock is great for fishing. There is also a lily pad, paddleboat, kayak, fire ring, etc. This property is close to downtown Munising, Pictured Rock Lakeshore, and other fun areas to visit. Thank you Joe and Erin for your hospitality. Anyone reading...hope you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here, this home is truly amazing.

A week of heaven

This was a very nice place to stay. There were small issues like drawers missing knobs but overall good. Just a small note regarding safety-rails in bathrooms and both sides of stairway would help. Floor boards on front entryway were loose and and a real falling hazard. 20 years ago wouldn’t have mentioned this but now a fall could end a great trip.

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful house overlooking the lake. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Only complaint, there were no shampoo, conditioner, or soap in the showers. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom and 1 partial roll of paper towel in the kitchen. We didn’t find kitchen towels so we ran out. I hope this was something the cleaning lady forgot to stock. We brought fans because the temp was in the 90’s. Would have been nice if they provided a few. Overall we would stay here again. Close to Muinsing/Pictured rocks.
