The cabin layout was great for us & our family. Great that we could have the family dog too. The view of the lake was very relaxing. The cabin is conveniently located to everything you could want. We plan to stay here again. Thanks for the lovely stay!

very nice! a little chilly the first night, so tried to get propane heater to work, but couldn't figure it out, but space heaters worked fine. beautiful cabin and resort.

Lovely location. Well cleaned, despite old condition.Noisy leaf blower every day we were there, making conversation difficult. Bathroom sinks drained slowly.Cabin could use a “refresh” of appliances and plumbing.

Lake Almanor has been my happy place for 60 years! This lakeside cabin is a gem and the location is one of the best that the lake has to offer. The cabin has been well maintained and managed by Cliff and Karen who are excellent hosts! We return every year and it feels like home.

Lake Almanor Vacation

Clean cabin with everything we needed for our stay.Owners were very helpful and available when we had issues operating the dishwasher.Boat slip was great for easy access to one of the few marinas with gas on the lake.We will definitely be back.

Such a great oroperty

We love this place

We stay here every year. Our friends stay with us for 3 days. And they allow dogs, although we didn’t have one this year. We have great communication with the managers. Overall, I give it a top rating!

Our happy place

This location is like our second home, always welcoming and inviting. Everything we need is here including a view of the lake and easy access to the dock and swimming. The location is ideal. Clint and Karen are wonderful hosts! Anyone new to the lake should spend some time exploring the fun shops and restaurants in Chester and rent a boat to experience the lake and dock at Plumas Pines for lunch on the patio. Lassen is also a great day trip! We have already booked for the next two summers!

Amazing little cabin on the lake!

We have stayed at many cabins on the lake but I think this had to have been our favorite. The dock is literal steps from the cabin - we could see our boat in the slip from the deck, which is always nice. The table and chairs on the patio is perfect for relaxing. The cabin had everything we could ever need: bedding, towels, pots, pans, utensils, plates, cookie sheets, strainer, you name it. There is a little market across the street with almost anything you might want, as well as a restaurant and coffee shop, so the location was ideal. The boat ramp is pretty steep, so if you bring a boat, hopefully, your tow vehicle has 4x4. We had no issues finding a spot to leave our boat trailer during our stay. We will be back next summer for sure!

Great time had by all!

It was a very nice cabin with a great view of the lake! We went fishing and swimming right from the dock! We also hired Mike Papas , a fishing guide, and went out in his boat and caught beautiful rainbow trout. Clint and Karen were marvelous hosts and we are looking forward to renting there again!

We love this place and always ready to return the next year! Boat dock and slip an added bonus with the lake view. Two bed and 2 bath great. Also with dishwasher and AC - necessity items greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Spot

We had a great stay Our host was courteous and was able to answer all questions in a timely manner. The cabin was clean and directions left by host were clear. It was nice having a private boat launch and boat slip. Other guest on the property were very friendly. We have booked for next year!!!
