Beautiful place

We really enjoyed the view, it was beautiful. Cooking dinner while watching the ocean was amazing. Unfortunately the first day of our vacation the power went out for 6.5 hours over night. It was a planned outage, and the power company had notified the rental agency months earlier. The rental agency failed to notify us and this began our vacation on a nightmare. All of our food in the fridge (which we just stocked) went bad. Both of my children up all night because they were afraid. We would have delayed our vacation 1 day if we knew we would be going thru this. Im very disappointed with the rental agency for not communicating this planned outage to their customers. I understand if it was simply a power outage but this was a planned outage from 10 pm to 430 am. The house we would totally stay at again but im disappointed with vacasa.

Avoid Vacasa

Unit was fine. Vacasa was awful. Rented condo for 2 nights with family to celebrate college grad. Within 2 hrs of checking in, knock on the door. Two dudes sent by Vacasa to remove and replace washer/dryer. No warning or notice at all. Vacasa said they called and texted me all day about it. Funny because I got some of those texts ie check in code, WiFi. Nothing about 2 dudes gonna bust in and spend an hour plus of your 2 day rental in your unit while everyone is awkward and no one can leave to walk the beach or get dinner. Then Vacasa sob stories me about how hard it is to get vendors to the coast and while they don’t like to disturb guests they had no choice. They’re so sorry they will refund me 1 of 2 nights that I’d paid. Did they? A month later? Guess? I text the property manager Lindzie multiple times. I see that she reads my texts. She bothered to answer once to tell me she would look into the promised refund. Never texted again. I’ve disputed it now with my credit card. Avoid. Incredibly unprofessional and a big headache to deal with. Duplicitous too.

Our stay

When we first arrived we thought it very clean. Then we noticed a smell finally figures out it was the garbage disposal. It was full of smelly green goop. Gross. We cleaned it out and the smell left. Wi-Fi connection is shared so it is hard to watch movies cause we kept getting kicked off. Maybe an extender would help? It is a beautiful location. We enjoyed the view and sound of the waves. Walks on the beach were nice. Checking in and out was nice and simple.

Beautiful view

The view of the condo and the cleanliness of the condo I would rate high. The difficulty that we had with the condo was the front door code, and it not working for us in order to enter the condo. Because this issue was never resolved with the management, each time we left the unit, the door was left unlocked. This unit required you entering a code in order to get into the condo and having to turn a deadbolt that spun in circles and then pull down on a latch in order to enter. This was difficult for myself, and my two friends to enter a code very fast and try to push down on a deadbolt that appeared to be broken. We all suffer from arthritis in our hands, and this was frustrating and extremely irritating. The management staff ignored our text to see if they had found a resolve to the situation. Each time that we left the condo, we had to just hope nobody would enter it because the door was unlocked. I would never rent this unit again. They need to come up with a much easier way to enter the unit. I have stayed at several of these units over past years and I have never experienced a issue like this.

A Good Selection for a Visit...HOWEVER...

This condo is a great option for couples or families. But two complaints: (1) the carpet in the entire unit needs to be replaced or get a very deep cleaning. Massive stains in numerous places in the 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condo and it was very musty smelling. We were shocked, quite frankly, and we contacted Vacasa sending them photos of the stains. We hope that anyone staying in the unit in the future has cleaner carpets. (2) There was no information sheet provided to us visitors. We have rented MANY vacation units across the US and every place in which we have stayed had an information sheet or binder providing visitor/renter information such as how to use the TV/cable system, appliances, etc. All it takes is a one-page sheet with information to help the visitor have a more pleasant stay in the unit. Case in point: this unit has an antiquated garbage disposal; no turn on switch. I jokingly said, “What are we supposed to do, push down on the sink stopper?” Yep, that’s what it took.

Will not use Vacasa again

3rd floor oceanic view was nice, but woke up to drilling, banging, and man on ladder outside bedroom window. When asked what he was doing we were cussed at. Called Vacasa and they said they would get back to us and did not. The building office informed us Vacasa knew about the scheduled work and rented the site anyways. Tried to contact Vacasa again without success. Construction went on all day.

We had a very relaxing stay. The accommodation was excellent, spacious and very comfortable; view was fabulous, and the ocean a brief walk away. Maintenance required - a couple of light bulb need replacing. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the garburator.

Weekend on the Washington Coast

The condo was in great shape. Clean and with all the amenities advertised. Beautiful view of the ocean. Close to canneries for Dungeness crab and we went razor clam digging which was a lot of fun. Also close by to the historic lighthouse, great tour!

Great to be able to walk on beach and path. First couple of dishes we picked up from cupboard were dirty? Otherwise plenty clean. It would be helpful if clear statement about availability of hot tub. We loved our stay.

Lovely condo but WiFi and tv steaming inoperable during entire stay

We have stayed many times with Vacasa but in this instance, we did not get replies to emails, received only canned replies to complaints about no WiFi. Two of our party needed WiFi for work access and I explained this. Nothing was done. It was advertised to have WiFi and these days a basic, important service. I have asked for a partial refund.

Great calm place

This is my second time staying here and just love it. Clean, has everything you need, quiet and close to the beach. We were a little disappointed that the wifi didn't work the whole stay even after reaching out. At least we got some sunshine!
