Beautiful beach house in Westport
I am so impressed by how the host had thought of everything guests might need for their stay. The house and area were beautiful and responses to questions were immediate. We have stayed in other rental homes where some basic necessities were lacking, but we were able to effortlessly slide into a stressfree stay on the ocean. I highly recommend this property! Just a note of caution for anyone who might have mobility challenges, that the path down to the beach is steep at the end. This was not an issue at all for our group, however - we just wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!

Fantastic View
This was my annual trip with my grandsons (12 and 15). This house was beautiful and the view was spectacular. Somehow we got 3 days of sunshine although cold. Owner was very helpful and available. Listed as sleeps 8 and could definitely hold that.

Great Getaway for Weekend
We truly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. The pictures are accurate but really do not do this property justice. The views are beautiful and the neighborhood is quaint and quiet. The home offers everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Great Place to Stay
It was our second stay at this property this year. The owner is communicative and clearly has put great thought into making your stay calm and relaxing. It's one of the better properties we've stayed at and by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed in.

This was the perfect spot for a get away with our friends! The beach, the sunset, the biking to Westport, and the house was just lovely! Only regret: we ran out of time to use the movie screen. We’re already talking about coming back again!

3 couples getaway long weekend
Beautiful home with lovely beach view. The sunsets which were truly breathtaking (feel so fortunate to have had great weather). Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We watched a movie on “big screen” which was super fun! Had 3 couples stay and we all agreed, we want to return in the future. Thank you Kate for your help and quickly answering our questions.

Great Family Vacation!

Great Location and Activities
Our friend group really loved the variety of activities available from the property - chilling on the deck with an ocean view, lovely beach walks, biking into Westport and checking out the catch at the docks, hiking in John's River nature preserve, bird watching at Bottle Beach and kayaking (when the tides are right).

Fantastic Stay
We booked this location a year in advance after having a not so great experience down the road. It was perfect. Kate answered all my question and was very prompt. The house is amazing, clean and crisp. We felt like we were resort style staying with the elegance and furnishing yet very homey with the comfy furniture and space. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and gadgets. We cooked almost all the meals for our 8 day stay with no issues, (I am a bit of a gourmet cook). The beach accesses is a bit of trick, but it never stopped us, there isn't really a good beach accesses anywhere on this side of the ocean. The house is quit and very pleasant to stay. We have already booked our trip for next year with Kate and are counting down the days.

A great vacay rental
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house, the views were amazing. While it is on the "beach" it was still a bit of a trek, which we were prepared for. However, easy access was not direct and anyone with mobility problems will likely not have an easy time. There was an awesome projector, but I recommend you take kids movies/blu-rays if you plan to entertain small children. We would definitely stay there again! The owner was quick to respond to messages as well

Beach Quiet Comfort
This home is lovely, filled with comfort and easy access to the beach. The king bed provides a fantastic night sleep, the kitechen is well-stocked and the movie screen provides great entertainment. We loved our week at the Washington Coast and you will be more than pleased with this beach gem!

We enjoyed our time in the beach house, and as everyone has said it was very clean but we did not find it very cozy. We usually try to find homes that have a more lived in and loved feel. We were excited to find several pairs of binoculars on the mantle, but none of them worked. Westport was wonderful, the eagle was delightful and made our visit special

I am sorry that your visit was not as good as expected. I have tried to leave room in the house for my guests to live comfortably during their stay Thank you for the heads up; about the binoculars at the house. I have replaced the binoculars..

This home is beautiful inside and out. It has everything you need to have a relaxed vacation with your family only one thing it’s not really considered a four bedroom home downstairs has an open concept basement, which is amazing as well with the bed, but not much privacy to considered it a bedroom, but overall it was an amazing experience

Beautiful house with great views! Porch is perfect for sunsets and sunrises with the ocean rolling in towards you. The house is above the beach and the walk down is a bit too much for these seniors, but nice place overall!

We had a great time staying at this property. The house was well laid out, fantastic views, easy access to the beach via a short walk and we ended each night watching a movie via the projector (remember to bring dvds of your favorite movies.). The house was spotless on arrival, probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed at. You can tell the owner has gone to great lengths to make sure your stay is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

We highly recommend this home. The house is perfect! Great ocean view from the main living area and master bedroom. The house is super clean. Kitchen has everything you need. Spacious rec room downstairs. Communication with the property manager was great. We hope to return soon!

The Best of the Best (Beach House)
We give this property and our host a 10 out of 10. First, outside of hotels in Switzerland I've never stayed at a cleaner property. Beyond the cleanliness of this home is the clean-ness. The exterior and interior are spotless (truly in awe of this in light of the fact that the home sits in the dunes above the beach). The wooden floors are cleaned to the edges and the carpets are perfect. All of the kitchen items are cleaned beyond clean. And the bathrooms...unbelievable the standard to which these are cleaned. Our host is the most considerate host, ever. She's perfectly appointed this beach house. Nothing was overlooked in the kitchen. We felt instantly 'at home'...all the small touches really add up. And anything you'd want for a stay at the beach was there...and more. We could tell our host wanted us to have a great guest experience... and we truly did. This home sits 'in the dunes' just above the beach. With only a few neighbors and private access to the beach It's perfect for a beach get away. We'd recommend anyone looking for a top notch property, maintained to perfection, cleaned to a standard that I envy, and appointed with everything you'd need.

Excellent choice for a vacation!
The property was perfect for five adults. The kitchen had everything we needed—even a zester! We enjoyed watching a movie on the big screen with surround sound. The beach was a short walk away and the town was a short drive away. We’d never been to Westport before, but we’ll be back!

The pictures on VRBO don’t do this place justice. It’s the perfect vacation home for families with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have a great time. Just a short walk to the beach for hours of fun. The house has absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay.

Huge home with amazing view of the ocean.
Beautiful home and exceptional view of the ocean. It was a little difficult to keep the large space cool because of the afternoon sun beating down on the large wall of glass that faces the ocean. But the view was amazing. And once the sun set everything cooled off nicely. Wold rent it again.

Beautiful and relaxing beach vacation
We were so looking forward to this trip, and were stunned to find the house and property even more beautiful than it seemed in the pictures. Kate was super helpful and communicative leading up to our trip. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking big family meals every day. The views of the ocean from the house are unparalleled, and our kids had a wonderful time playing on the beach and in the basement for hours and hours on end. We loved it so much we are likely to go back!

Amazing views and super clean
Really nice house tucked at the end of a gravel road. Very clean with lots of rook to spread or hang out together. Amazing 180 degree ocean views and maybe a 3 min walk to the beach down a path. Easy check in and check out. Would absolutely stay again.
