"The house has the characteristics of a peaceful era of time gone by! If walls could talk the history of the house would be full of stories! At one time it was probably the queen peering over the bay, anticipating the arrival of fishing boats! The house was clean and accommodating for our stay! Enjoyed the daily visitation of the humming birds! Amazing! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Nice older cottage right on the water. Beautiful rocky beach only feet away. The high cliffs and caves were awesome. The salt water in the taps and shower take some getting used too. Bring provisions as the restaurant isn't open. But the cottage is comfortable with good Wi-Fi"

"We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!!"

"This was a cozy cottage on the Bay of Fundy that owners are in the process of upgrading. Location was perfect… a few things needed to be addressed as in stained pillows needed to be replaced…pipes and electrical wires needed to be covered by a ceiling…All in all our group of five really enjoyed and appreciated what owners were doing to upgrade it … Hot tub was an added bonus."

"Only stayed 1 of 3 nights. I filter my search with 2 bedroom min. There was only one and a sitting living room with couch conversion. Then there was the ants. Within a few min of placing food on the counter ther was over a dozen ants. We cleaned those up. And called the manager. Kudos on the quick response. But their solution was to spray ant poision on the counter then clean after it. They left us the poision and the cleaning solution fo us to repeat. A few min later ants were on the counter...

"The Blue Heron cottage was one of the best stocked little cottages I've ever stayed at, incredibly well appointed with dishes, towels, extra blankets ect. I'm always disappointed by the lack of tools to cook in a place but not here! Plus a comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. A perfect little getaway for my partner and I. Thank you so much for a great trip!"

"Was a wonderful stay and we ended up with more family arriving with kids so we were able to sleep lots!! Had everything you need!! Only feedback would be-the gas was cut while we were there which resulted in lots of grass being tracked inside and we spent a lot of time cleaning grass out of the cottage-which is not how you want to spend your vacation/time."

"First let me start with Barb is an amazing host. Everything was perfect from the beginning. Barb was easy to communicate with, the house was beautiful and the spot couldn’t be more perfect. The views were beautiful, and the house was perfect from the decor to kitchen/bathroom essentials. Access to Baxter Falls is steps away from the house, towns close by. "We enjoyed our stay in an authentic fishing village with no tourism. The only business was one fish market which isn't always open. We enjoyed the tides rising and falling and seeing the boats sitting in the mud rise up and head out for their day of fishing. The view was great although somewhat blocked from the house by the berm that helped to hold the bay back. As in the pictures the beach was also very rocky so not really walkable for older folks. Our main problem was that we could not find...
