"Our family, from Canada, 23 of us including a 1 year old stayed at Carlogie House in June. All declared it a wonderful location, with perfect accommodation. Every room has its own bathroom, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We purchased food locally and on most days families took turns cooking. As well we hired Kirrie Dumplings to cater on two occasions. The wonderful open space allowed lots of social occasions and the games room was perfect for late night pool and fun. "

Only about a 10 minute walk from train station and most places walkable but also lots of buses if you want to explore. "A very comfortable stay in a Shepherds Hut which i could live in ☺️ nice wee kitchenette with shower room and toilet and a very comfortable bed. Emma was very welcoming and showed me took accommodation and told me things i needed ro know. Restaurant on site was very good too! 😃"

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

October so unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the garden but the hot tub was ready for us on arrival and there were games and books to use as well.
