"Such a lovely escape! Amazing views, so peaceful and away from it all while being conveniently close to dining and shopping. No shortage of great trails within 15-20 mins. Our 5YO was obsessed with the hammock, so much that we installed one this week :)We will be back! "

"The house was great. We enjoyed the dock and porch immensely as well as the game room in the evenings. We rented a pontoon boat and jet skis from C & E marine and took the boat Al the way to see Clemson stadium from the lake. House was very comfortable and clean. Hot tub was nice too. Kitchen was well stocked for our family of 4. Owners were very responsive to our questions "

"This was our second stay here and this house is our favorite place to stay while visiting family in the Toccoa area. The host family is the absolute best, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. We highly recommend this place and will return again the next time we visit."

"This property was casual and relaxing. We were in town for a wedding. It was close to the wedding, and the adorable downtown was convenient. There's a great coffee shop not far. It is an older home with updated flooring and furniture. It is comfortable and feels like when you visit grandparents in the country. We felt safe and enjoyed the walk to the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and we also enjoyed building a fire in the fire pit. "

"My family comes up to Highlands every summer and this has been the best place we've stayed. The house is gorgeous and very well maintained. There are 6 fireplaces! It was so nice to be able to retreat to the screened in porch for the nightly thunderstorm. All of the bedrooms were super comfortable. It's a little off the beaten path but only takes 10 minutes to get into town and you feel completely secluded, so best of both worlds. We definitely want to stay here again! "

"The Canopy was the perfect spot for my family this Summer. A hidden gem away from the hot, Summer sun but close enough to lots of adventures. My teenage kids, 14 (girl) and 17(boy) had a blast white water rafting, hiking around waterfalls, zip lining and touring the area. The hosts were the absolute sweetest and most accommodating we've ever experienced. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon! "
