What a perfect house for a family! We had three kids (ages 5, 7 and 9) who took over the second floor as if it was made for them. The bedroom with the bunk beds and twin beds was perfect for them, and having the relaxing TV space outside the room was great. The master bedroom (and whole house) was full of amazing natural light which was only made better by the gorgeous paint choices to really brighten up all of the spaces. The backyard was SO much bigger than we had thought it would be, and the kids loved playing out there while the adults enjoyed the firepit and deck. And the outdoor shower was the COOLEST feature! It took a few minutes for the water to warm up, but it was worth the wait to shower with the sun shining down on you.
The beaches were all incredibly close. We tried out beaches in both Yarmouth and Dennis, as well as a playground in Dennis that was about 15 minutes away. The main road is less than 2 minutes away and had everything we needed, from gas to groceries. Mike's Roast Beef had incredible food for take out, and Cap'n Parkers was our favorite stop for seafood. We stopped at the Whydah Pirate Museum, which was fun for the adults, but the kiddos weren't quite as interested. They loved the Go Karts and Mini Golf a little further down the road.
All in all, it was a perfect first stay on the Cape. We absolutely adored the house and it immediately felt like home to us. Thank you for letting us stay there, and we hope to come back again!
