Add our names to the chorus of praises for this wonderful home. I'm not sure we can add anything to what other reviewers have mentioned -- the house is amazing, both inside and out; the lot is outstanding; the location is perfect; the amenities are plentiful & first-rate; and the hosts couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. My wife and I have rented numerous vacation homes and condos over the past 20 years, and my wife says this is her new favorite, narrowly edging out her previous #1 -- something I didn’t think was possible!Typically, my wife and I go on a week-long vacation in July with three generations of family members. But life is unpredictable, and due to circumstances, this year our getaway instead ended up being four nights in September and a much smaller group -- in fact, just the two of us. Yes, it seemed silly to rent such a big house, and I admit to being a bit concerned that it would seem uncomfortable, cold, and somewhat awkward. It was anything but. Surprisingly -- perhaps due to the architecture, floorplan/layout, furniture & furnishings, or all of the above -- somehow the house felt large & spacious, while simultaneously charming & cozy. I'm not sure how that was possible, but we felt just as comfortable as we do in our own home. On further reflection, I think it was mainly because the hosts obviously don't think of people as simply "renters", but rather as their personal guests -- a very welcome bright spot in what has been a difficult year.

This is a very special home. The location is easy to get to with a great grocery store close by as well as other amenities such as a few restaurants. The house is very thoughtfully designed with fun & recreation at the forefront. There is lots to do without leaving. There are games , fire pit with lots of firewood, a putting green as well as many lawn games on site. This host has thought of everything. The lake is an easy walk down a gentle incline to a wonderful dock. The dock is well designed with swimming & floating and just spending time on the water a true joy. The paddle boards were wonderful. I can’t say enough nice things about this home. It is well appointed & designed for fun!! You won’t be disappointed!!

The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need inside and for all outside activities. The surroundings are so quiet and peaceful! Our family of 12 stayed there before and are looking forward to going back. The hosts are more than accommodating to your needs.

Homeowners are quick to respond. The house is PERFECT with all the amenities and the kitchen has anything you could possibly need.I can’t recommend this lovely house enough. We have rented two years in a row and we just love it.

Wonderful Vacation!

This property is amazing! There was something for everyone in our group. The grands learned to paddle board, and we all spent many hours at the dock and in the water. The putting green was a huge hit as well. Everything was top notch, and the hosts could not have been any nicer. 5 Stars!

Our multigenerational family of 12 enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this property. The house is new, clean and well stocked. There were plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds for the adults and bunk beds for the children. Bathrooms are very nice with new towels, shampoos…The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and there was a large table inside and outside. We enjoyed having multiple living spaces with great seating and televisions. The best thing about this property are all of the activities available. We spent time on the dock swimming and paddle boarding and the kids loved the Lilly pad. The putting green was a hit with the men and everyone enjoyed playing corn hole and ping pong. There was a tube in the garage we used for tubing and plenty of life jackets. We rented a boat for a day and would recommend it. Jeannie was a great to communicate with and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely rent this house again!

The perfect place for celebrating our Clemson graduate

This home was magnificent. Honestly, the pictures on-line didn't captured just how awesome this house is. It was even larger of a space than I had anticipated. The home was well laid out for multiple families/friends to stay and feel like they had their privacy. Clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, gorgeous landscaping, receptive owner...every detail in this house was perfection. We were able to rent a boat and park it at the dock, with easy access to Lake Keowee. Grilled out a few nights, had a fire with an abundance or wood on site, lots of seating when the rain decided to show, but covered patios allowed us to still be outside and enjoy this property. We had the best time! We no longer have a Clemson student, but will be back just to enjoy this beautiful area and home. Thank you, Jeannie!!

Beautiful House

This large lake house is very well appointed. It has a great layout and plenty of sleeping accommodations. We enjoyed the large firepit area, which had plenty of firewood on hand. The location on the lake is peaceful in a non-wake section.

Annual Couple's Clemson Lake Weekend

The house is beautiful and was perfect for our group. We enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer from a putting green, ping pong table, fire pit, paddle boarding and so much more. Family Gathering

This property has so many positives such as a beautiful view of the cove, a relaxing dock to hang out on and around, a grassy area to play on, large upstairs and downstairs spaces for the family to gather, many outdoor activities, and a new fire pit area to enjoy s'mores. The owner was very responsive to our questions and ensured communication with us was a priority. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Keep in mind, this is a non-smoking property, which means no smoking inside AND outside the home.

Spectacular

This is the perfect property for a family Lake weekend at Keowee. House had absolutely everything and both parents and kids of various ages were very comfortable. The amount of games and toys that are available at the house was incredible and out of the ordinary. We got to enjoy so many extras at this property. Lake position was perfect as was boathouse and water amenities. Owners could not have been more helpful or friendly. Will definitely stay again when we return to Keowee.

Perfect Getaway!

The house was perfect, the lake was beautiful, clean, and warm. There was some noisy construction with new-home builds in the area, but overall it was amazing! We had 3 adult couples, 3 single adults, and 5 kids, and everyone had a bed and plenty of space! Lots of games and things to do at the house. We enjoyed reading some of the books on display, and Jeannie recommended a putt putt place in Seneca that was really great! The Oasis Ranch was one of the nicest putt putt places I’ve played and it was super affordable! I’d also recommend the hike to the waterfall at Oconee Station State Historic Site. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Would Love to Keep it a SECRET!

This property was EVERYTHING it promised and MORE! It was beautiful, great location, clean, great appliances/resources in the kitchen, convenient sleeping arrangements. The cove was quiet and low key (no wake zone), so the kids were able to tool around on floats and paddle boards. We had such a great time. We had one issue and it was resolved within fifteen minutes. Jeannie and Mike are wonderful hosts and we will be back!

Wonderful family vacation

The house and location could not have been a better fit for our family, with 3 generations. We love lake vacations and Lake Keowee is now our favorite. The lake is quiet and the dock at the house is perfect for paddle boards, floating, fishing, etc. We rented a Pontoon boat and had a wonderful time on the water and the beach islands. The layout of the house was perfect for us (the grandparents) and the kids all had a fantastic time with all of the games, both inside and out. We even had a Lake Olympics competition! We hope to be back!

The perfect lake getaway!

This property is everything you would dream of for a lake vacation. The house is immaculate and well stocked. Perfect get away with kids. One of the best features is the flat yard and easy walk to dock. We have stayed at some homes that the dock is too steep and our older family members could not get up and down. The layout of the rooms accommodated our family so well. The fridge, trash can, and the water mat was such a bonus. We loved our stay and look forward to renting again!

Second time around and always fantastic!

We have booked this home twice now and even though our son is now an alum of Clemson, we hope to return and do it again! This house is spotless, the location on the lake is so beautiful and the owners are just lovely to work with! In fact, my mother left her glasses behind and they quickly mailed them to us! They could not be easier to work with - answering any questions we had instantaneously. There is so much room at this home and it is equipped with everything you would need or want to enjoy a wonderful stay with family and friends! Truly a gem and we will be back!!

Great property, great experience.

Our large family had all the space and comfort needed for our Christmas to New Year stay. The house and amenities were as advertised or better. Lake access was great, and the paddle boards and kayaks were used even though it was nowhere close to summer weather. The house layout gave us plenty of together space, but the bedroom and bathroom arrangements were private and comfortable. Great hosts and super easy check-in. We will be back.

Family weekend

The property is beautiful!! Such a lovely home in a gorgeous setting!! My grandchildren had fun playing in the game room. They tried fishing, but it was raining and chilly. The beds were so comfortable. A perfect place to share with our family.

Fantastic family holiday

Such a beautiful, light-filled property with plenty of space for all ages. Wonderful deck and gathering spaces with incredible lake access. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Was a perfect place to spend a family Thanksgiving!
