Lovely and Fantastic Home!
I remember this house as it was when I grew up in the area and I was so excited to stay here and see what has been done to it to give it new life! The home is beautiful, so well done and taken care of! I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to book the farm house during Thanksgiving and at the rate we received. It is usually not available during the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. The house is gorgeous, well stocked and super cozy! My husband and I enjoyed the fireplace each and every morning and night! Our kids loved the yard and the outside fire pit. The entire home was so inviting and well put together. If I was to be super picky, the bathroom shower curtains could've been replaced prior to us getting there and the oven needed to be cleaned. I cleaned the oven prior to cooking for Thanksgiving and I communicated this with the host...didn't really affect the review because no one else noticed. Everything we needed was provided and the refrigerator was fully stocked. Beds were super comfy and the heat was perfect! We have a service dog and although I vacuumed daily, she leaves a lot of hair and nothing was said about her hair. Melissa the host was fantastic! Lovely experience and would love to stay here again!

Perfect home in a perfect location
Stayed at the Farmhouse with group of five adults. Plenty of room to spread out in this well appointed, clean and cozy home. The home is very nicely decorated, the kitchen and dining area are well appointed and the beds and bedrooms are very comfortable. Relatively private area that is convenient to West Union, Peebles and Seaman. Melissa is a wonderful communicator. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent stay at Unity Farmhouse
Our family spent fall break in Adams County and stayed at the Unity Farmhouse. The house was very clean, had a generous amount of space, and was well stocked with supplies we needed during our short stay. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Adams County, Ohio in the future. Melissa was a great host.

Tranquility
The Farmhouse at Unity is a well managed, peaceful retreat within a short distance to all the sights Adams county has to offer. My family and dogs enjoyed the comfortable seating outside to watch the Amish buggies go by and many butterflies in the beautiful prairie in the backyard. You feel like your staying in a home featured in a magazine with it’s elegant and charming decor.

Great time at the farmhouse!
We had a wonderful stay here at the farmhouse. It is in a quiet location and a wonderful place to stay and get away in the country. Also, when the description says modern that is accurate, the furnishings are wonderful and you feel right at home. We also appreciate that this listing accepted pets and we were able to bring our dogs with us. They loved the place and felt right at home. Thank you, we look forward to coming back.

This homestead was unbelievable. So clean, bright, cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We very much enjoyed the outdoor pavilion and firepit. Firewood on site was greatly appreciated. We take trips annually and this space by far was the best we have stayed. Thank you!

Beautiful home. Accurately described. Hosts are very responsive. Clear check in/out instructions. All newly updated interior. Nicely furnished and decorated. Great place to host a family gathering. Great time
We had a great time at the farmhouse! My wife, 4 year old son and our dog enjoyed running around outside! We also went to the Herb Festival which was a great time. Definitely recommend this place!

Girls' Getaway
The home is beautiful! We loved the farmhouse decor. Everything was so clean and tidy. Bathroom necessities were abundant. The fire pit was fun! We also enjoyed sitting in the pavilion with the ceiling fans on. The neighborhood is friendly. Definitely a 5-star rating!

An adorable get away
This property was exactly as pictured. The house is adorably decorated with farmhouse decor and has everything you will need (even fresh baked goodies from the owner upon your arrival). The home is very clean and tidy with a lot of spaces indoor and out to gather (or separate if need be). Kellie was so easy to contact and responded In a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again. A bonus were the Amish buggies going by while sitting on the porch swing.

The Farmhouse of Unity Accommodations & Homey Environment
Super nice, but busy rural intersection. Supplies & comforts were very generous!! We came together for a family reunion on Saturday….about a half hour away. Cousins from Texas ; Brother & his wife from Tennessee and us shared the house. Lodging’s allowed us to have meals, have a leisurely visit together and one-on-one too!

Perfect, restful weekend stay
We were seeking a clean, peaceful home that our family of seven, including our dog, could stay without a lot of hassle. This farmhouse is everything it says it is! There are no surprises and it made me feel relaxed and ready to enjoy my family. The host has thought of everything down to spices and condiments for cooking in a well-stocked kitchen, paper towels and toilet paper, clean towels and linens, chopped wood for the fire pit, and more. We were able to travel short distances to enjoy the local neighborhood shops and Serpent Mound. Having a beautiful space to play games and spend time with our family was a great gift from this farmhouse.

Lovely accommodations
The Farmhouse was perfect for our group of 7 close friends. Everything was spotless, with more than adequate supplies for the kitchen and throughout the house. Lots of nice touches which made it very well organized and welcoming. We were interested in hiking and seeing birds and wildflowers and The Farmhouse is located within reasonable driving distance to many of the abundant hiking opportunities in Adams County.

We loved our time at the Unity Farmhouse! It was so clean and well maintained. Decorated so perfectly and comfortable for us all. Perfect Getaway!
We had a great long weekend at the Farmhouse! We went on many hikes around the area and visited the local bakeries. The house had everything we needed for the weekend. A nice yard for our dog and for playing in the snow! We have already recommended the Farmhouse to others in our family!

Want to Get Away From It All?
If you do, this is your place! Not sure I have ever stayed in a home where I felt like I was truly “at home.” Kellie and team have thought of everything. We spent Thanksgiving Week here and it was perfect for my family (plus my daughters boyfriend for 1 night). Wi-Fi…? Who cares…as you feel so relaxed that you aren’t Anxious about checking in. But YES…I simply set my phone and iPad as a Personal Hot Spot when needed. Close enough to all your needs (I had a forgotten script called in, and it was no issue to go get it) and far enough out where you can truly let cares of life fade away for a bit. Certainly we will be back and THANK YOU for a wonderful Thanksgiving Memory!

Reunion of Siblings and Spouses
Beautifully remodeled farmhouse with lots of charm. Clean and comfortable. Several spaces indoors and out for us to relax and visit with each other. The upstairs bedroom with 4 twin beds has a half-wall along the staircase. Any sounds from people downstairs can be easily heard from this room. Not a big problem if all go to bed at the same time.

Beautiful, Relaxing, Close to Cincinnati
The property was beautiful and the house was immaculate. Everything was well stocked and had things you don’t find in other properties. Amish Country is beautiful and you have to be mindful and careful of the horse and carriages driving up and down the roads especially at night. You are within an hour of Cincinnati and with 15 minutes of stores to do your shopping. The fire pit was gorgeous and the back barn patio is beautiful at night with the Edison lights. We grilled out and had a beautiful dinner. You will definitely appreciate the craftsmanship of all the furniture in and outside the home. This has by far been the best house we have ever rented off of here and we usually do 2-3 a year. Thank you again for opening your home to us and we had a wonderful time!

Great place to escape to!
As advertised! Tons of seating (indoor, outdoor) and "farmhouse style" finishes that looked new. Very easy to text the host, clear and easy to follow clean up instructions. We fit 6 easily, could've had 2 more. Host made a dessert for us, and clearly renovated the space to be a rental property. Amish area has a few things to do, some wandering dogs... Nothing too terrible.

Beyond great
Everything in this rental was clean, sleak and very well decorated. Me and my partner were beyond content with the location, space, and privacy. Our German Shepherd loved the spacious yard and room the rental provides. When visiting it was just me, my husband and our dog but the space provides plenty of room for more! All the essentials plus more was provided and I give extra brownie points for them using Norwex (love this brand) supplies. Just be wary of free roam dogs when visiting, we had two huge dogs come visit and stay around a while and our dog was not impressed. Definitely will be visiting again.

Relaxing Long Weekend Away!
The Unity Farmhouse was a great stay for our family over the Easter weekend. My husband, son, parents and myself all enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. All of the amenities of the house were perfect--our favorite part was hanging out by the fire pit and hearing the clopping of the horse and buggies as they went by. We enjoyed Miller's Bakery and Furniture and had a few nice drives. Since we had our two dogs with us and they are allowed in Ohio State Parks, we enjoyed two beautiful afternoons hiking. Our first was at Adams State Park (about 10 minutes away)--easy hiking on flat to medium terrain. Our second was about 45 minutes away at Shawnee State Park--we did the 5+ mile loop on more difficult terrain but got to see beautiful babbling brooks and major changes in elevation. Highly recommend both. The house was comfortable and well appointed--everything we needed was provided. Kellie was great with communication and quick with responses. We will be back for sure!
