"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff.
The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent.
The location opposite the beach is delightful and quite quiet - and very convenient for the West...

"Great stay at a very friendly inn with great bar and menu options. Our evening meal (4 of us) was superb! Short walk into town and all Minehead facilities. Would definitely stay again."

"Conveniently located, easy access by car. On site car parking was very good. The room was spacious and well equipped. Recommended"

"Lovely hotel. Rooms spacious and immaculate.
Only disappointment was the food. Menu was not really to our taste and when we did manage to find something suitable the cooking was not great. My comments about tough meat which I couldn't eat were acknowledged.
Otherwise great stay."
