An absolitely magical place to get away from it all! Gorgeous private location, incredible craftsmanship treehouse compound, had everything we needed for a memorable stay! It was such a peaceful and beautiful area. The treehouse was whimsical and enchanting. You have to be nimble to move around and stay in the treehouse. Our family of four had no problems. The kitchen had all we needed. The outhouse is the cleanest and nicest smelling outhouse I have ever encountered. I found it more comfortable than the toilet in the treehouse because it is enclosed and more spacious. We had a great time disconnecting from technology and enjoying each other’s company. The hosts Rik and Terry were knowledgeable and personable. We look forward to staying again.

This property is amazing. The treehouses are beautiful and really well taken care of. This camping so expect to be a part of nature but be able to take some down time in the beautiful living space with great windows.

Treehouse magic!

So amazing! Two treehouses to double your fun. Such a creative and magical stay. We felt like kids sleeping in the treehouses. It was especially magical reading while laying in a hammock while the Fall colorful leaves fell around me.

Spectacular Treehouse!

My family and I had wonderful time at Rik's Treehouse! We were impressed with all the details and fun elements added to make this place a unique yet comfortable hideaway. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the woods, having campfires and playing games connecting as a family. We hope to return again next year! Thanks for having us:)

Nothing short of magical

Rik as a host is very lovely. He gave me a great orientation to the property and left us alone unless we needed something. The treehouses were so amazing. What a vision and what fun it was to bring my kids imagination come to life. I was initially concerned about what to do for 5 days there but he was very resourceful and gave us many ideas. 5 days flew bye so fast. We went to lake george, lake st. Catherine and oh jumped off the quarry in Dorset 3 days in a row. Manchester was fun too. The only hope i have for Rik is please cut the shrubs in more because the road leading in was narrow and it scraped up my car a bit. The kids loved it and hope to go back.. thank you for all that you are and for your imagination. It was fun! Bring a cooler for all your dry foods is my only recommendation. totowasalso

The Great Outdoors!

Awesome place for our family. The treehouses were unbelievable! The woodworking for both houses were beautiful. In the woods, with all comforts of home, electricity, mesh on the windows(no bugs)water, grill. Ric was very welcoming and explained the property. We decided we would definitely be back!

Beautiful treehouses in a peaceful setting

The host is very kind, and welcoming. The treehouses are incredible—the craftsmanship amazing. There is an outdoor shower, a well equipped outdoor kitchen, and a nice fire pit. Highly recommend!

Bliss amongst the trees - perfect for family bonding!

As a long time tent camper, I’m accustomed to “roughing it” in beautiful forested sites. However, I was blown away by what Rick has created in this special place! The two treehouses are quirky and perfect with no detail unconsidered. Both were comfortable and amazingly spacious, and kept us dry in a serious downpour. The nearby kitchen pavilion has everything any type of cook/chef will need to feed the group and the hammocks and large fire pit offer additional sites for individual or group relaxation. The outdoor shower was perfect to cool off after a long day of hiking and the cold water provided a nice morning spark. Our family of four (including two college aged kids) enjoyed two great nights in this most unique setting.

Far exceeded expectations in every way

This is truly a unique opportunity to escape the cookie cutter city life and learn what can be created by a craftsman with genuine pride in his work and respect for his environment. Each bit of this property is meticulously cared for and blends together nature, functionality, and creativity. The pictures here and anything I could write would not do this place justice. Favorite place!

This was my second stay at Rik's property and it was just as lovely this time! I wanted to share the magic with close friends so we convinced a few to come along with us and they were equally as smitten. We are already planning to come back again! No service on the cells, so no interruptions. One can truly get back to the earth and reconnect with loved ones.

My daughter and her friend loved their stay here in 2020 so much; she begged me to book the treehouse again for her birthday. We spent the weekend immersed in nature, artistry and adventure. I can see why my daughter and her friends find this place "magical." We will be back!

In the trees

The tree house was an awesome experience. It was amazing to hear the birds in the trees, much earlier than I expected though. The compound is truly a visit back to nature. We also had some chipmunk friends running around while we visited, which was adorable. We also enjoyed coffee by the fire in the early morning hours. I loved how there was minimal waste.

Vacation with my five yr old son

I surprised my five year old son with a treehouse vacation and it was more than expected! Every day he told me it was the best vacation ever. I like to explore different places for vacations but Rik’s treehouse is definitely a must return!

Girl Scout reunion

My friends and I had an amazing time at this property for a weekend reunion! Rik was a great host, communication was great. The sleeping arrangements were very cozy and the outdoor kitchen space is well kept. We enjoyed a walk along the nearby rail trail and just sitting by the campfire late at night under the stars.

A fairytale fantasy getaway

There are no words. I simultaneously want so much success for this property owner while also desperately wanting no one to find it so it doesn’t become impossible to book. The property is beyond words stunning. It’s so cool, so much fun to explore. The owner is so generous and will give you a tour that will emphasize how meaningful every creation is. Just… it’s exactly as wonderful as it seems. Don’t expect hotel amenities. It’s like glamorous camping. And I promise you’ll come out the other side feeling so much more attached to nature. Diamond in the wilderness

From the moment you arrive until you leave, Rik is there for any reason you may have although your not likely to need anything. Everything is there to give you a back to nature vacation free from any stressor. The only stress is where do you take a nap?? Too many options. Rain or shine, it’s the best get away you could every experience. Been there 5 times and never disappointed. 6th trip already planned
