This is a no frills property. It was fine for what we needed - a place to shower and sleep. I think some cosmetic upgrades are needed as well as some issues that need to be addressed.There is an ant problem. Both bathrooms and the master had issues with ants. The inside does not get below 75 degrees at any given time. I think better blinds would help keep the sun out and help it feel cooler until the sun goes down. The verticals and blinds are old and don’t close totally. The sliding glass door is ancient and I was a little concerned that someone can easily open it from the outside. But it was spacious enough for my family of five and the neighborhood is quiet. We did not use the pool, patio, or anything in the yard so I can’t speak to any of that.

Just Right!

The property was terrific! Quiet neighborhood, near a great park that's good for walking, and near the Zoo if you have little ones. Convenient to Publix, PBI, and Downtown. House was spotless and bright and with everything we needed. Pool was great and there are two bikes and cushions for the chairs in the shed. We have stayed here twice in the last month for baseball. Cacti Park and FAU are 20 minutes from the house. Close to beach too, but we did not have time to visit. Chris was a responsive host and we will be back! Thank you!

Wonderful stay and great location

This property is perfect. From beginning to end the communication is excellent. The property is clean and comfortable. The beds are super and washer and dryer right there. So many wonderful details and everything you need is there We used the pool and grill and had a great time. The location is steps away from a fabulous park as well as the zoo. The park has wonderful walking paths and feast play area and a park for the pups You are minutes from grocery stores and less than a half hour to the beach. Book it now. You will love it!

This was supposed to be a family vacation with some baseball. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family right before we were going to leave. My husband and son went and said the house was perfect!!!

Winter vacation

Chris was very helpful with this very last minute booking. My family and I booked a different property through VRBO and upon arrival to that property there was already a family staying there and we had been double booked. We immediately started looking for another place to stay. I booked this property and moved in the next day! Upon check in I immediately noticed the clean smell throughout the house like a cleaning crew had just left! It was a nice feeling. The house was perfect size for our family of five. Our three kids ages 6,9&11 loved the heated pool and the short walk to the beautiful park up the street and the zoo! The house was very conveniently located just about 15min drive to the Fort Worth pier. The only complaints I have are that the shower curtain in the master bathroom kept falling down, the shower head in the other bathroom was in disrepair and the bikes that they show in the pictures had flat tires and could not be used. Otherwise if you are looking for a good home base with a pool and availability to do laundry. This is a great house!

Nice house, good safe neighborhood, heated pool, walking distance to great park, the zoo, easy to get to, Had all the household items for cooking, washing clothes. TVs worked good. For me could have been a bit cleaner could use another dining table chairs and new sofa. Overall great place I would stay there again.

Our family vacation

Nice location. House was a good size for our group. Enjoyed the local zoo and beach. Mattress needs to be updated, springs stuck through and sink in the middle. The portable fans on site where a wonderful touch and very much appropriated. Enjoyed the lizard antics. Pool was top notch. Had a wonderful stay.

Heated pool was the bomb!!!!!

Last minute booking for myself, my son, his wife, and two kids. Nice neighborhood, circle street. House was nice. Had good amenities. The pool was great! We would take the kids to the beach in the morning and then they would swim in the nicely heated, roughly 80* pool till they dropped. Would definitely stay here again. Lots of local things to do. Good proximity to downtown. Great host. If you needed him, he was available, but didn’t nag you or constantly bug you. Thank you Chris.

Perfect for the grandkids!

I stayed here with my daughter-in-law and 2 granddaughters. I also had my mini dachshund with me. The house is nothing fancy, but it was spotlessly clean and perfect for our girls trip. The fenced in yard made me feel safe letting the dog out. Beds were comfy and plenty of linens were provided, including towels for the pool. We used the pool everyday. The girls loved it. I would definitely stay here again. The location was within walking distance to the zoo, science center and a park. It's only about a mile from The Park West Palm Golf Course where my son is working to build the new course. Next time I come to visit him, I hope the property is available. Chris was easy to work with and communication was great!

Family vacation

Family vacation, great that we had the pool due to excessive seaweed at the ocean. Home is walking distance to Dherher park, city zoo, aquarium, science center. We grilled out several meals.

Great house and location

This house was perfect for our group of 4. House was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor space and loved the location - walking distance to the park, zoo and science center.
