Fantastic spot! It was literally 9 minutes away from the Cooperstown All Star Village and made for the perfect getaway while our son was at the Village playing ball! Clean, lovely, quite, cozy and the owner is super responsive. We give it a 10/10! Couldn't love this spot more!

We loved our stay while our son played at Cooperstown Dreams Park. While not as close as All Star Village, Dreams Park was only about a 30 minute drive. His twin brother enjoyed fishing off the deck and caught several varieties. The home was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Escape

This was the PERFECT place for our family during our CASV experience. So nice to get away to the quiet, serene, lake front house after a long day of baseball. Kitchen could use some more amenities, but other than that it was fantastic!

Enjoyable Family Weekend!

My family spent Easter weekend at the bungalow. The location was beautiful, and the cabin was very clean and spacious for our family of 4! The weather was not great, but it didn't matter, we just enjoyed the scenery and my boys spent hours just fishing of the dock!

Serene getaway

We stayed at the Cedars cabin while our son had a baseball tournament in Cooperstown. The property was beautiful and had everything we could have needed. The getaway was remote while still having plenty to do. Would highly recommend!

Overwater cabin

Very nice property Really unique setting Ad says fully equipped kitchen but no dishwasher Couldn’t find a flat skillet for pancakes and/or bacon Noticed in pictures that there were no tables by the sofa for plates/drinks so we brought some tray tables with us Also a shower caddie would be nice because there is no place to put soaps and shampoo but on the floor Otherwise it is a great rental and owner was always available

Unique Cabin on the Lake

My family of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the cabin on the water. The unit was VERY clean upon arrival, the accomodations were outstanding, and the living experience was relaxing. In terms of the outdoors accomodations, it was so nice being able to fish right off the deck. We caught a ton of bluegill, perch, and large mouth bass. To be able to sit on the deck and fish is amazing. We also used the kayaks and the row boat, which was the first time my kids were in a row boat. We also used the fire pit, which was nice. We highly recommend this property.

Underwhelmed

When we saw this bungalow on Vrbo, we felt certain it would provide a truly memorable experience. The location is secluded and quiet; the scenery is very nice. While we found many aspects of the cabin attractive, space was tight and storage a problem. There is not one closet, which was disappointing to say the least, and the downstairs bureau was not in the bedroom but in the hall, which was inconvenient. The space devoted to the living room is very tight and the television mounted over the mantle made viewing from the couch uncomfortable. The glass insert in the floor was ultimately uninteresting and the space could have been better used for a coffee table. The kitchen space was also limited. Some basic kitchen elements you would expect to find like a rack to use to dry washed dishes (there was no dishwasher) were missing. The outside grill, which we had intended to use, was filthy and the lamp on the table outside on the deck was broken. During our last night there, the water softener was triggered (loudly right next to the bedroom) and we were forced to call the property manager who, to his credit, answered the phone immediately at 3 am. Renters should know in advance that this might happen. Bottom line, this could be a very nice place but many of the details that are so important in creating a truly wonderful experience were missing.

Quiet, clean and great views

solid rental property 12 minutes away from cooperstown allstar village. stayed there with wife and 2 kids. smaller house so not suitable for larger families but worked great for our stay. The area is remote - nothing in between allstar village and house besides pizza 23 (we ate there 2x, pretty good)

Beautiful lake house!

We stayed here during our visit to Cooperstown All Star Village. It was only about 12 minutes away from the fields and was the perfect place to relax during game breaks and after a long day at the ball fields. We loved being able to combine our baseball vacation with a lake vacation! The house and grounds are beautiful and the owner could not have been more responsive to our needs and queries. Complete with outdoor fire pit, kayaks, row boat and fishing - everything was there for us. We highly recommend!!

Excellent Property

Lots of fun enveloped in the beautiful scenery. Completely your own Cabin for as long as you stay. Nature hikes, catch some fish, kayak across the lake or just sip coffee as the sun rises...a magical place!

Great bungalow over the water!

Such a great getaway! The cabin was awesome! So clean, beautiful view & very fun! The kids loved the glass on the floor to see under water! The deck is absolutely gorgeous, we had multiple meals out there & you could fish. We had an issue with the WiFi & the manager answered our phone call & had it fixed within minutes. Such a great experience all around, we will be back!

Happy to be back!

We were so happy to return to this beautiful cabin. Super clean, well appointed, with a spectacular fireplace. Waking up to the view of the lake, fishing right off the deck, the kayaks.. even our dog loves going in the rowboat. He is in heaven here! Looking forward to year 3!

Perfect Getaway

From the moment we pulled up to this amazing and unique rental we knew this was a hidden gem in the catskills. We were looking for a low key getaway with our friends and this rental was the perfect spot. The view was amazing and the house beautiful. Glamping at its finast!

Much needed Getaway

Beautiful house, unique and fun setting. No need to leave, fishing, kayaking by day and fire pit in evening. Beautiful views. Even saw a bald eagle. Highly recommend.

Peaceful getaway

This cabin was everything we were looking for - a peaceful getaway of fishing, kayaking, and relaxing. Our dog loved exploring the trails all around the property and our children were fully entertained with all the salamanders, fish, frogs and even a turtle that they found in the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to booking again in the future!

Nothing Short of Amazing

I stayed for 5 days with my spouse and our two dogs. The cabin is beautiful, secluded, quiet. It checked all the boxes! The property is large with seemingly endless trails. The view of the lake was breathtaking while cozied up to the fire. Would love to go back!

We recommend it!!!

This was absolutely an amazing and beautiful experience my family and I had staying in a Lake House. There was an amazing view of the water side and trees filled up with snow. The house was neat and had pretty much everything accessible. Since there was no shampoo & body wash, we were able to go to a nearby gas station by 9pm. Just one thing to keep in mind is that there wasn't any hangers or closets to hang jackets, but other than that everything was perfect. The host was also quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. Overall, it was a great and relaxing getaway with my family for my daughter’s sweet 16.
