Akis our villa host was really great and helped facilitate our stay in every way possible . The Villa was immaculate and great terrace. Agios Nikoloas and Kardymeli were our favourite places and the Patrick Leigh Fermor house worth a visit.

Beautiful villa with amazing views

We spent a week and thoroughly enjoyed! Akis the owner was very responsive and made sure we were well cared for. The region is wonderful. I did mention to Akis that it would be great to have a list of good local Places and things to do.. it is always super helpful. We made some great discoveries very locally.

Second time there. Lovely stone house with all mod cons. Three patio areas, all with chairs or loungers, giving full flexibility where ever the sun was. Two sun umbrellas. Nice small pool. 2 restaurants shop and bakery within 10-15 minutes walk (no vegetables or cold stuff). Met by owner at large nearby supermarket and taken to house. Downstairs toilet, washing machine, iron and board a bonus. Very minor points: WiFi transmitter away from property, so signal very good on patio, slow inside, shower typical European so had to be held with one hand (but improvisation possible with 2 plastic coat hangers). One of the best villas we have rented.

Peace, space and sunset views in Villa Phoebe, Stoupa

An excellently maintained villa with high quality fittings, quiet and efficient air conditioning, good WiFi reception and plenty of space on the front terrace to enjoy the extensive views and the near all day sunshine.

Lovely villa and beautiful views, would highly recommend!

The villa Phoebe was exactly like the photos, but with a bonus of a beautiful view wherever you looked. There are plenty of places to eat in the surrounding areas, but if you choose to stay in and cook, the kitchen was very well equipped just like a home from home. It is situated in a very peaceful area and the outside areas and pool mean that you don't have to go anywhere and be completely lazy! Overall, we would recommend this property and the beautiful areas surrounding it, to anyone that enjoys a peaceful, relaxing holiday. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you Akis (the owner) for being so welcoming, look forward to seeing you again!

A wonderful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful, quiet location.

The lovely house was everything we expected; thoughtfully designed, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed being there so much that we didn't venture out as much as we'd planned and dined on the terrace most evenings while enjoying the stunning views and glorious sunsets. The nearest supermarket (2km) has everything you need and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in Stoupa and nearby Nikolaos. Akis was a great host and helped us settle in quickly. We are sure to return sometime.

A perfect holiday in Villa Phoebe

We stayed at Villa Phoebe Sept 2015 for just over 1 week. The villa is in a beautiful location tucked away on a lovely (but steep!) hillside with no passing traffic. As soon as we arrived we immediately felt relaxed here. It Villa itself has great facilities including wifi, aircon and a washing machine. Both bedrooms had views across the Stoupa coastline which was lovely to wake up too. The whole villa was spotlessly clean and faultless. Stoupa has lovely restaurants/beaches and is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break. Akis was a great host and we will definitely be returning next year! Thank you Akis, Brigden Family.

Vacances idéale en famille

Nous avons passé d'excellente vacances dans la villa Phoebe retirée est en hauteur. La situation est idéale, à quelques kms de la plage principale de Stoupa, très bien aménagée et à l'abri du vent. Il y a aussi d'autres plages aux alentours plus calmes et plus natures. La visite du Magne notamment de la côte Est est superbe avec de nombreux lieus pour s'arrêter déjeuner et prendre le temps d'une baignade dans des eaux cristallines et chaudes. La villa est très bien équipée, moderne. La vue de la terasse le soir est magnifique avec des couchers de soleil uniques. La terasse est bien ombragée le matin ce qui est agréable pour le petit déjeuner. Akis le propriétaire nous a très bien accueilli et très prévenant.

We had a great time in Villa Phoebe. The owner Akis is very helpful but doesn't bother you. The views are stunning. The house is very clean! Fresh towels and cleaning every tuesday. Very nicely decorated. Good airco without paying extra. We will be back for sure!

The perfect Mani villa for sunset viewing

Villa Phoebe is a perfect base for a holiday in the mani peninsula. It's locations makes for fabulous views of the Stoupa coastline as well as beautiful sunsets. The villa itself is lovely - clean, spacious, modern and even has a washing machine - a nice bonus. The pool is not large enough for exercising, but great for cooling down and chilling. The built in barbecue is great to use. We spent most of our time around Kalogria beach, but also spent a day going south to see the Diros caves. A nice new find was Agios Nikolous - a lovely village to the left of Stoupa as you look down from the villa. All in all a great holiday experience.

Perfect in Every Way!

We had the pleasure of staying in Villa Phoebe for almost two weeks. We absolutely enjoyed everything about the Villa. The home was very clean and housekeeping was provided twice during our stay...it was nice to have fresh linens. The villa has great modern features (including plenty of hot water), but still maintains character. The best part is of course was the breathtaking view with spectacular sunsets. Akis is a wonderful host. He answered all of our many questions prior to our travels to Stoupa. He also met us at the market on our first day to help us pick up some items for a light dinner after many hours of traveling. He was so helpful in showing us all the local items from the surrounding area that were available at the market. This was a small gesture, but such a huge help being that it was our first time in Greece and not to mention that we were nervous to use the tiny bit of Greek that we had learned. If you are planning a trip to the Mani we would highly recommend Villa Phoebe. Stoupa is a perfect location for any traveler. The area has so much to offer and the locals are some of the most friendliest people we have ever met. Villa Phoebe has certainly set high expectation for our future travel accomocations...we hope you enjoy you stay as much as we did!! ~ Joe and Michelle USA

Quiet & relaxed stay in Stoupa

Villa Phoebe is a beautifull villa on the hill near Stoupa. The house is clean and well-equipped. We loved the views from the great terrace. We enjoyed the jacuzi. We visited Mystras, Monemvassia and the Mani. (Vathia and Cape Taenaro) If you like walking there are a lot of possibilities; we liked the walk near Kardamylli very much. Agios Nikolaos was our favorite place to go for dinner. Akis, thank you for your hospitality.

Superb

This was the best vacation with the family on sea shore in years! Nice villa, perfect location with amazing views, small beaches nearby. The owner, Akis, was very helpful. The villa was furnished with all you may need for a stay - all that small things, which are usually missed or you have to request them in addition, were in place at arrival. All you need - to stop at a supermarket which is in about 2 minutes drive and buy some food. Well equipped kitchen and house in general. There was enough space for children to play at the porch. Several beaches are available nearby. We preferred the one at Stoupa as this one is not so overcrowded as Kalogria. Water is very clean and you can see deep through. A car is a must. At the same time your drives will be more likely limited to a local sightseens as it takes about 1 hour to reach a motorway, but there is enough to see locally as well. We made a drive to Olympia and it took about 3 and a half hours one way. Athens is in about 4 hours drive. Local restaurants differ significantly from place to place. Our favorite were two on the opposite of the beach side in Stoupa both overseeing the beach but from different sides. It is one of those places which you plan to return to. Vlad and Anna

No sign of a recession in this property

We had a great family holiday which was made all the easier with this top quality villa. The villa was spotless everything seemed new and had excellent views across the bay being perfectly perched at the top of the hill. We have been to Stoupa before and would definitely stay here again. The owner Akis was on hand to meet us in the main town and take us to the property. One tip is that you will need a car to get up and down from the town. Steve & Kathrin
