"Fantastic stay for Shenandoah hikes. Make sure to shop before hand because grocery and gas are quite far, but the property is beautiful and has many little critters running about near the main clubhouse (i.e., kitties of many kinds and a massive duck as well). The grill is a George Forman but it still worked as well as we needed for basic hot dog and burgers for dinner. Overall great experience and will absolutely book again if we return for more hiking!"

"We loved our stay at this property! The view was amazing and the accommodations were very clean, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable! Tess was a great hostess and communication was prompt and effective. The rental was a little closer to the owners house than we thought based on the property description. The outdoor amenities such as the chiminea are positioned for privacy opposite the side of the host home. The roads to the cabin are narrow and unpaved with switchbacks making it a little...

"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"The house was very clean an tidy. We did have some trouble finding the driveway but we arrived after dark. Our Host stayed on the phone with us until we arrived which was extremely appreciated. We ventured to Carter Mountain and had no issues finding Lyfts to transport us. The view is phenomenal. You feel like you are isolated but you are really close to lots of wineries. Although the driveway is steep, it was easy to get up if you go slow. Parking is on a flat area of the backyard. "
