terrible
After getting ourself some pickup food, the landlord of this “house” stumped in our door accusing me of making noise, which of course was not true. cursing and threaten me.. of course i did not take the verbal abuse and told her to go away. her husband came back and kicked me out of the place and had to call 911 to ensure the incident got recorded. most terrible experience and first time ever i make this kind of review. additionally, this is a house (not a hotel) and not in-suite bathrooms are available. i strongly recommend to stay away from this place

The host was really wonderful. Made it a great experience and she is very hospitable. The problem I have is that the picture provided when I booked the property was of a room with a living area next to the bed (all in one room), which is what I originally liked. I wanted something roomy with a separate living area. When we got there we were given a room with no living area. I wish the pictures would represent the room we would be getting instead. A little disappointing

quiet comfort
First time at this Lakefront Home. Quiet street close to town and plenty of room to relax. Very easy access to hwy in either direction. Hosts are very nice and this place is a quiet retreat.

Overall good property, heated pool is great. The only inconvenience is separate bathrooms and shower room downstairs. It’s ok just for one night.

Thank you for your review . The studio has two separate private bathrooms one with private staircase and private entrance to the pool . It is our busiest suite . We are always interested in how we can do better . Cheers !

The good: Location was easy to get to and from, parking was easy and bedding was soft. The bad: To start, I had booked online, and was later told they had double booked and told to cancel it myself - despite by booking being not cancellable on Expedia. Later, the reached out and booked me in as they had a cacellation. It seems disorganized. More disorganization around check in as my room wasn't ready on arrival - they called on arrival day and asked for more time to which I agreed. After agreeing to a later checkin, I would hope that the room would be ready, but they still were having issues. Some miscommunication around kitchen use and coffee service. However, there was a long tiarade around my daughter's age - who they incorrectly assumed was a minor and not allowed on property. She's 26 and we found it unnecessary. The towels were old and rough. Like someone's old towels from the 80's. My biggest issue with the home was that it had a smell of cigarette odor upon entering. For anyone sensitive to smells I would highly suggest elsewhere.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay . this property is strictly non smoking and adheres to smoking laws as well as fire inspections . due to extra sanitary measures surrounding covid 19 many establishments are facing later check in times . Because of covid 19 we have thrown in some extra complimentary coffee and concierge services to our POLITE guests . Staff is in no way responsible for cooking food or accommodating meals that were very rudely demanded or starting shifts extra early in the morning to accommodate plans of the guest . We do not tolerate any abusive behaviour at this property . Usually in these situations the guest is immedately escorted out . Not only do we have a minimum age requirement , our policies state that identification is required at the door . Our room amenities are new . Guests are banned from property indefinitely for abuse towards staff .

REALLY NICE HOME, COMFORTABLE MATTRESS, NICE QUAINT HEATED POOL, Great Lake VIEW. NO BATHROOM IN OUR ROOM. USED POWDER ROOM OFF KITCHEN FOR NORMAL BUSINESS BUT HAD TO GO DOWNSTAIRS FOR A SHOWER. NO HAIR DRYER. 3PM CHECK IN DID NOT HAPPEN. 4:30 PM WE GOT OUR ROOM.

Hello we are sorry for the late check in . once in a while our cleaning times need to be extended to ensure guest safety around covid 19. hair dryers and many other amenties are always available upon request . The 2 private exterior bathrooms attatched to this large suite are described on our listing . We appreciate your concerns and will stive to do better !

A lovely clean home and nice host. This isn’t a small hotel or on or really close to the lake. You can see the lake, unless we missed a path across the street. We had a room which was clean, and had a tv, dresser, table and bathroom. There were no extra towels if you used the pool, she may have gotten them if asked I suppose. No shampoo, soft soap - not anything special etc. The pool was lovely. Due to covid you booked a time to use it which was nice. You do have limited access to a fridge, but she will bring ice. It’s a shared common space rental essentially. There are about 8 stairs to the front entrance.

Thank you for your review . We are now a licensed Bed and breakfast . Due to covid 19 regulations kitchen privileges are suspended . We understand that this may be an inconvenience however the safety of all guests is important to us . Towels are available along with concierge , ice ,Coffee and tea service . All toiletries are located in bathrooms under the sink . This was our economy room you chose for your stay . This is a lakefront property with a beach 1/2 block away . This room chosen is listed as a garden view room and contains all the pertinent information on the booking sites . Thank you for choosing Luxury Lakefront Rooms .

Overall very nice place
Everything was clean and private. The owner, Patrice, was very nice and accommodating. Each room has its own ensuite. No breakfast served due to Covid restrictions but we were not informed ahead of time. Mix up with our booking between home away and the property owner. Expedia took over Homeaway and VRBO I believe so our booking was moved there but again absolutely no communication of the change or with any check in information so we were very nervous that we wouldn't have a place to stay. Worked out well in the end though.

Our rooms have been closed from March 15th - june 5 th . There were no rentals in may .

Wow, was für ein Zimmer
Einen Tag bevor ich ankam, haben die Gastgeber mir eine Email mit de wichtigsten Imfos zukommen lassen. Als ich dann angekommen bin wurde ich sehr herzöich empfangen und mir alles gezeigt wo ich was finde. Dann kam das Zimmer. WOW. So ein Zimmer habe ich nicht erwartet. Blick zum Lake war der Eyecatcher. Ich möchte nochmals danke sagen für den tollen Aufenthalt.

My dad and I were road-tripping across the Canadian Rockies when we found this excellent place, with a stunning location and extremely reasonable price. We appreciated the hospitality of our hosts and would like to thank them very much for letting us stay in their home for a day and take advantage of enjoying the lake-front view. Needless to re-iterate, we were delighted by our stay here. I will highly recommend this place to everyone, and will definitely like to stay here again if and when I visit Kelowna again!

This property is lovely. It is well-maintained, modern, and comfortable. The host was friendly, accommodating, and personable. The patio and bedroom were spacious and awesome. I didn't enjoy that the bathroom with a shower was downstairs (my room was upstairs). Secondly, I didn't enjoy that my room didn't have a lock. I know the whole home is appropriately locked, but it's just my own comfort; I like to be locked into a space (especially when it's unfamiliar to me). Overall, I really liked it!

Everything was perfect except for one minor thing. There was no lock on the door of my room, which was directly adjacent to the kitchen and dining room common areas that other quests shared. I found this a little strange, but because everything else was so nice, made it seem less of an issue.

It took me a while to find "shared accomodation" in the description. This was the first surprise. My "suite" was a bedroom without a lock on the door next to the echoing kitchen. I often had to search from room to room to find the right door to the bathroom in this vacuous house. The bedroom was at the end of the house where I couldnt get a wifi signal. The TV system was unusable. The luxury amenities would have been nice 10 years ago before they got beat up. Above these surprises, the owners of the house woke me up repeatedly between 2AM and 5AM by cracking beers and talking loudly in the kitchen. I had left an item behind and after 4 straight weeks of trying to arrange for them to ship it I had to send a courier to pick it up at a considerable cost. It arrived in a taped up take out bag. This stay became a hassle and was unnerving from the start.

We are sorry to hear you were disturbed by kitchen guests . The kitchen is a shared free benefit . The property is not responsible for lost items , however from time to time , we try to accommodate . All of our info such as a shared kitchen is plainly written in our listing . Please take the time to read . The entire property has recently been upgraded . Thank you for your review .

Beautiful rooms, large TV was great. We had the full basement to ourselves and was very private. The kitchen was huge and was all good. No Cable connection, but Netflix was available

Comfortable, quiet and convenient to downtown location. Only complaint is that they only offer Netflix at which the program was not working very well. It's a computer program that was slow and a pain so we just went to sleep. No cable TV for news and that was a disappointment.

My friend and I stayed there , we really enjoyed how welcoming it was, caprice was enjoying company and never skipped a beat to give us a house tour and welcome us into her home! She offered great advice and helped us find wonderful Resturants to eat at! We had a private entrance so there was no issues coming in and out later in evenings !

Although my travel plans were turned upside down by flight delays and cancellations and I couldn't make it in time for check in, I found myself being accommodated beyond my own expectations. The room was clean and as advertised, with the price being perfectly fair and reasonable!
