The Huddie Hut

  • Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located home in Downtown West Jefferson, North Carolina. Come relax on the front porch while listening to the local church bells or enjoy a walk downtown West Jefferson. Ashe County offers a variety of shopping and local restaurants and hiking. The Huddie Hut is near the hub of brewery’s, winery’s and a cidery.
    The space
    Come enjoy this fully equipped 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home with open floor plan living room, kitchen and dining. This home has been completely renovated throughout. This home offers beautiful hardwood flooring in every room except for tile in the bathroom. Brand new appliances. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed, goose down comforter and pillows for a cozy sleep. The bathroom is a Jack and Jill style, with access in both bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy sitting on the covered porch overlooking the town of West Jefferson and Mount Paddy Mountain.

I cannot say enough good things about The Huddie Hut. Very clean, quaint, cozy, and beautiful. The layout of the space is perfect. The walk to downtown was also the perfect distance! Not overly taxing but far enough away to have peaceful nights. The beds were so comfortable! I very much recommend this adorable house for your next trip!

Anyone staying in West Jefferson, NC should check out this property. Excellent Accommodations. Close to everything. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Clean & comfortable. Gracious and accommodating host.

The cottage was so comfortable. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. So cozy and the decor was fabulous. We would absolutely choose THH if we're ever in West Jefferson again. Far better than any hotel room. The only thing we missed was a fan for sleeping...noise and extra air. Otherwise, perfect. We highly recommend staying at The Huddie Hut.

This is a great rental for close access to downtown West Jefferson. We were able to walk to everything all weekend. The home is very clean, comfortable, well put together and equipped with anything you need. We are looking forward to returning and willdefinitely stay in the Huddle Hut again. Thanks

Lovely location! Easy walk to downtown - lots of beautiful hikes around - I particularly enjoyed Elk’s Knob! House has great lay-out & clean! Beverly was very respond & helpful! I would definitely stay here again!

The house was exactly as described and one of the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. Wish we could have remained longer. I highly recommend it.

Easy walk to downtown West Jeff

Beautifully renovated cottage just a few minutes walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Comfortable bedding and well stocked kitchen and nicely updated bath. The interior is clean and tastefully appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

Sweet Historical Cottage

This amazing home was cute and cozy. It was decorated so beautifully and had everything you could possibly need or want. I loved how well the house was renovated but the history was also visible. The convenience to everything was great, walking or short ride. We will definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Hostess Beverly, we had a couple of questions and she responded to us immediately. Nice little cottage style house. Beautifully decorated. Pristine cleanliness. Comfy beds. Walking distance to downtown West Jefferson. Multiple places to eat, drink and be merry. Beautiful area to explore on foot or by vehicle.

Wedding weekend

We were there for a wedding at Twickingham Estate. It was very convenient as the host told us, and we enjoyed shopping and eating in West Jefferson! Great time!

Peace and Quiet

We loved our after Christmas unplug and relax stay! Beautifully decorated and nothing left out in this place. Close to all the action but quiet location. Will be back!
