The cabin fit our needs perfectly. Plenty of sleeping space, large shared space, and great outdoor space with beautiful views. Thinking of booking again in fall or winter. We really enjoyed our stay.

Family Reunion

In town for a family reunion. This was a perfect home for our immediate family to stay while getting to go and visit extended family. Close to all the things we were doing throughout the weekend. Glad we decided against not beinging our trailer of kayaks as it would have been difficult to manage the trailer with the driveway and parking. Definitely will consider this house again with no kayaks in tow.

Warming family fun and togetherness

I have two children with families. My daughter 3 grown children and 2 younger ones by 2nd husband. My son has 2 teenage children. My husband and I retired. This vacation is as the best family vacation I have ever had. Cold rainy and foggy with two nights together in a beautiful cabin. We enjoyed each other together with games and trip or two into hot tub. Few trips into town for food - very close and little shopping and site seeing. When you don’t have sun or snow you can still have a good time in a beautiful cabin like Rest Assured

Great snowy girls trip

Wonderful cabin and views. Great communication with property manager . Close to town . Cozy gas fireplace . We had 12 girls and slept everyone comfortably . Nice open living - kitchen - dining . Hot tub a plus . Was everything we had hoped for including a foot of snow!

Views were amazing. Very comfortable for our 6 family members and 2 dogs. Great location to West Jefferson. Home was "rustic." Clean upon arrival. Kitchen well stocked. Rocking chairs on porch were wonderful to watch the changing sky

Amazing view mountains

The view of the mountains is amazing, we really enjoyed, so beautiful, but the house looks no very clean specially the basement smelled like old and a lot humidity, also at night it was roaches running in the kitchen, poor light outside, finally they lie because in the website it’s look like the house has propane gas grill but they don’t have it . Beside that it was great for relaxing.

Great Place - Nice Cabin -Amazing View

very cleaned place, perfect location, cabin was very cozy and nice, we really enjoyed the stay there. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The only down thing was that kitchen utensils, dishes, etc...were really outdated and old. We felt the cabin lacked some extra blankets and pillows, but in general it was a great trip, we'll be back!

Gorgeous Mountain views

We loved this house. The porch overlooking the mountains was a peaceful retreat. Well stocked kitchen, a family of wild turkeys walking through the yard each day, and pretty hikes nearby. Management company was very easy to work with. We only had 4 people but it could easily accommodate many more. We’ll be back.

The house was in a good location for day tripping and enjoying West Jefferson, which is a really very entertaining! The dog area was very nice. The home was very clean! Our lower rating was due to furniture, etc not cleanliness. The decor is very dated with lots of mismatched, worn furniture - leftovers from others or from many years ago. It was described as grandmother’s leftovers with frat house mix. There are several pictures hanging and figurines that are certainly not appropriate given our national discussion on diversity and equality. Parking is not ideal but manageable. The landscaping or outdoor sitting is not conducive to relation. We will go to the area again but would not rent this particular house again.

Inaccurate description! Would not rent

The home was described as secluded and as a brand new log home with modern amenities. This home was not secluded. There was a home about 150 feet away and a main road that ran by the home just below the deck. This home was no where close to new and the amenities were not modern. When we arrived we were extremely disappointed. This house was very inaccurately described on the property websites Additionally, the kitchen had not been cleaned. Dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher from previous renters. The microwave door handle did not work. The toaster did not work and there was food splattered all over the cabinets. Several drawers in the kitchen were missing knobs/handles. The refrigerator did not cool appropriately. The upstairs shower handles fell off, the upstairs ceiling fans in the bedroom did not work, the armoire in the upstairs master was hanging by one hinge. The downstairs bedroom light did not work- bulbs were burned out and the room had badly stained carpet. Light fixtures in the kitchen and living area were full of bugs. The grill was rusted completely- the igniter did not work and the valve did not control the temperature. There was a crawl space type area on lower deck beside the hot tub that appears to have been kicked in and there was huge opening to under the house. Overall the home was very inaccurately described and was dirty- it has clearly not been maintained
