When we arrived the apartment key was left in the lock and we were not sure if the host was going to greet us or not (we normally stay in hotels but wanted to try something a bit different). But this was quickly resolved by contacting the owners, who were friendly and responded quickly to messages. Overall the accommodation was great, spacious and very quiet. "We were a little disappointed with our stay . It was impossible to hang clothes in the wardrobe in Bedroom 1 as it was stacked high with bed linen . Also a lot of bed linen in other wardrobe . The fan in one of the bathrooms was not working resulting in a lot of condensation on the floor making it very slippery . The canisters which may have held tea and sugar were empty . "A lovely cottage. Great for a weekend away. Slept well. Bed comfy. Heating works well . Cooked a couple of meals with no problems. A small milk provided which was very kind. A basic television and some dvds which you can play . Good WiFi . The cottage is small down stairs which was great for us as a couple but you can sleep four people in the cottage which is fine but a family may fine it a little small . We went to visit a couple of national trust properties and had a lovely time ."

"Simon was a very polite host but we had a few issues with our stay. The apartment is near a nightclub and on one night had to pass our way through the crowd to enter. It wasn't just the noise from the nightclub but also pigeons in /behind the bedroom wall which made it very hard to sleep.
