We really enjoyed our stay at The Cayman Condo. The condo appears to have been completely renovated fairly recently and is even nicer than it appears in the photos. It was also comfortably furnished. And, the kitchen was well equipped. The pool and grounds were great. My son and I enjoyed breakfast on the patio each morning just staring across the pool to the ocean, watching the neighborhood chickens and one of the neighbors do her daily Tai Chi routine. It was very relaxing. It is also in a nice, quiet location within easy driving distance to a lot of pretty beaches and good restaurants. Being able to walk to The Cracked Conch (ate there twice and loved it) and Macabuca was a bonus. We will not hesitate to return.

This property lives up to the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk right outside to the pool and pretty much had it to ourselves throughout the stay. The area was quiet and relaxing. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had an incredible stay at this condo! The ocean view was absolutely stunning, and the condo itself was fantastic—well-appointed with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. One of the best parts was stepping out onto the patio and having direct access to the pool with an amazing ocean view. The management team was very professional and attentive, making the entire experience seamless. Highly recommend!

This place was amazing! They thought of everything we could possibly need. My 17 year old son and I scuba dive and my mother snorkels, so the location was super with easy ladder access to the ocean at a great dive area. It is a 2 minute walk to Macabuca so we ate there a lot and dove/snorkeled from there many times. Several dive shops in the area so we got tanks from Shaggy’s at the condo, dove from Macabuca, went out from Cobalt Cove and Lighthouse Point with tanks from Divetech and drove down to Sunset House in town one day. The condo was perfect for all of our gear—had scuba gear hangers, a drying rack and as a first floor unit with a walk out patio, our gear could dry outside without us having to walk it through the condo. My mother particularly loved sitting on the patio at the beautiful big table with the ceiling fan to cool her off and a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. They had all the basics there for us from paper towels and dish soap to hand soap pumps in the bathrooms. Also there were SO many towels available! Everything was really clean and well labeled and the guide gave perfect instructions. Check in was super simple and everything really was perfect. Love an easy dive trip! Thank you so much Tim and friends:)

Better than we imagined!

From the moment we walked through the front door to see straight through to the other side of the condo to the pool and ocean, we knew we were truly on vacation. The owner and his hospitality team/house manager made us feel welcome and were very responsive (not that we had a single problem while here!). This property is meticulously maintained and thoughtfully appointed. The surrounding neighborhood is being developed, you can tell it’s likely to be the newest popular destination In the Caymans. But for now, it’s peaceful, beautiful. Conveniences like a supermarket are nearby but you need A taxi, car rental or delivery. Taxis are plentiful and friendly. To us, taking taxis everywhere was less expensive than a rental (and safer than learning to drive here)! Macabuca and Cracked conch restaurants are literally steps from here. Both great restaurants, different vibes. We enjoyed Cemetary beach, and Governors beach and a pool day right outside our door. We can’t wait to come back!!

Perfect once again

We stayed at this property 2years ago and it was exactly as I remembered, if anything it was even better. From check in to check out, it was perfect. I was worried that in the two years that it might have gotten a little run down, but it definitely wasn’t. This place is just like the pictures look, and is very well stocked for four people or more. Besides the unit being well looked after, the grounds and gardens were just as I remembered. One of my favourite things about this place is the fact that the pool and ocean are so close, always in view. We would like to say thank you very much to the owner Tim and the property management company for making our stay so amazing once again. We will definitely be returning soon and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Family New Year

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 11 and 13) had the pleasure of ringing in the new year here. Everything was as described. The view was amazing. The beds comfortable and the kitchen was stocked very well. We have rented many condos over the years and we really appreciated that this one came stocked with all the basics like paper towels, Kleenex, hand soap, etc. The management company was top notch. When we notice a beach chair was broken our first day, they got a replacement to us within a day. Our flight home had a very late departure and since the property did not have someone coming in the same day, they we super accommodating in allowing us a late check out. The waterfront on the property had a nice sandy area before the rocks and the rock entrance has a ladder. Unfortunately for us the first few days were calm but we needed a few days to get out kids acclimated to snorkeling,and by the time they were ready the water was no longer calm for entry! I guess now we have to come back again! And we won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful condo with a beautiful view

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful condo. We enjoyed walking to the Turtle Center for our day of snorkeling with the turtles. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at Macabuca restaurant (the view and atmosphere was phenomenal). The ocean view was wonderful but the waves looked intimidating and we did not venture out into the water. There are definitely safer places on the island to snorkel for the inexperienced snorkeler. Overall a wonderful stay to jump start our vacation on this beautiful island. Thank you!

Family Stay in Cayman

We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Bay! Our condo was well equipped, very clean and had the perfect amount of space for us. With 3 kids we used the pull out bed and it was great! We enjoyed the pool practically to ourselves, the lovely view and the snorkel opportunity right there. Loved having so many places close by as well. Would highly recommend this condo!

AMAZING stay at Coconut Bay!

Everything from booking to check-in to our 8 day stay was perfection. Tim, the owner, and his management team were all amazing to work with from Day 1. The property itself is situated at one of the best spots on the island - West Bay! Immaculate, clean, and located right by the pool with an excellent view of the Caribbean right out the back door. The property came with all the necessary cookware to eat in, washer/dryer so you can pack light, and lots of toiletry items including shampoo/conditioner/body and face wash. Ample towels and blankets were also provided for our stay. Macabuca and Cracked Conch are only a 2 minute walk from the lroperty and ample dive shops in the area. If you are a diver this is definitely an excellent place to stay! We loved everything about it and plan to return in the near future! Many thanks again to Tim!

Totally perfect!

Our family of 5 stayed 6/2024, about 5 days. This condo is fresh and clean and appears recently updated. It has everything, from beach towels, ample dishes and flatware, and plentiful blankets and pillows for 5 of us. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and the AC + ceiling fans keep the temps pleasant. Teapot, blender, good pots & pans, food storage; many extra little things that made the stay convenient. The pool and ocean view are right out the patio door so it's the first thing you see when you walk in. It is a small and quiet complex so you may at times have that beautiful pool and beach to yourself! It's far enough from 7 mile beach that you can spend the entire vacation in quiet, but it's also easy enough to get around for restaurants, etc. Pretty much everything you need is a few minutes drive, and in some cases, just a walk: we walked to the Turtle Centre and Dolphin Discovery, and to the Cracked Conch next door. Check in was a piece of cake, communication with the owners and the management company was also super easy. Checkout was very simple as well: we tidied up, put a load of towels in and loaded our dirty dishes, and out we went. We appreciated that there were no surprises upon arrival. Uncomplicated house rules, easy checkout process, and the photos you see online are exactly what you get. We were able to enjoy every moment of our vacation without a care. We would 100% come back to this rental, it was perfect for our family!

Great location in West Bay

The condo is in a great location - away from the crowds but a fairly short drive from the Georgetown area, depending upon traffic. Fosters (grocery) and Jacques (liquor store) are in a complex a quick 5 - 8 minute drive away. As noted in other reviews, Macabuca is basically a few doors down, and both Tukka and Calypso Grill are a short drive away. Snorkeling off the ladder entrance was very easy and convenient - be sure to hit some other spots such as Eden Rock (great spot!), Smiths Cove, and Cemetary Beach if you are into snorkeling. The condo was very clean upon our arrival, and was well stocked with towels, etc. Communication with property management contact via WhatsApp worked fine, though sometimes a bit delayed. As I believe some other reviewers may have noted, there is an onsite overnight security guard. In our week there it was a very nice gentleman who always took the time to say hello, and obviously took his job of patrolling the grounds seriously. Two items to note: this unit does not have a BBQ/grill, and the Wi-Fi does not appear to be broadcasting in the 2.4 GHz band. We bring an older “vacation” laptop with us that has 2.4 GHz wireless, and it could not see the SSID for the condo. Newer 5 GHz devices such as phones had no issues. This should be an easy fix for the owner/manager to enable if they are even minimally technically inclined, but we did not bring it up to the property management contact Melinda since it was such a minor inconvenience.
