  • Tucked away directly on the quieter northern end of Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Nautilus Studio is a charming, standalone beachfront studio created especially for two. Compact, private and wonderfully positioned, this little hideaway is all about simple island living — with the Caribbean Sea just steps from your door.

    The real star of Nautilus Studio is undoubtedly its private beachfront deck and spectacular sea view. Step outside in the morning with your coffee, spend lazy afternoons soaking up the sunshine, enjoy a casual BBQ overlooking the water, and settle in for beautiful Cayman sunsets at the end of the day.

    Private steps lead directly from the deck to the beach below, making it wonderfully easy to slip into the warm Caribbean Sea for a swim or snorkel. The snorkelling immediately offshore is excellent, with coral heads and marine life to explore without ever needing to get in the car.

    Inside, the Studio offers an open-plan sleeping, living and kitchen area designed for two guests. The sleeping area has a comfortable queen bed, while a flat-screen SMART TV and complimentary Wi-Fi make it easy to relax after a day in the sun.

    The compact kitchen provides everything needed for preparing breakfast, lunch or a relaxed dinner at home, with a breakfast bar and seating for two. A separate bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet and pedestal sink.

    Outside, the private deck offers outdoor dining and seating, a BBQ grill and an outdoor shower — perfect for rinsing off after a swim or a day on the beach. A mature sea grape tree provides natural shade and additional privacy from neighbouring Nautilus Cottage.

A wonderful babymoon

We enjoyed our stay and the place was perfect for just me and my wife. The property managers are right across the street and super nice! We enjoyed the privacy along seven mile beach and felt like we had the place to ourselves. We also enjoyed having Heritage grill right down the street which made it a great lunch spot on beach days.

Loved the safe, convenient location! Beautiful views. Easy access to the water. My only suggestion is adding a full length mirror. Loved. Would stay again.

Great place!

The apartment was perfect! The property manager, owner, and staff are so nice and accommodating. Very responsive. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The place itself is just as described and perfect location with basically your own private beach on 7 mile. It was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Grand Cayman

Location, location, location!! Quiet little neighborhood. Right on the water, literally. Short walk or drive to several beaches, restaurants and grocery store. Really enjoyed our stay in this quaint little studio. There are towels for the beach and a hair dryer. Wifi was hit and miss while we were there.

Cozy and quiet

Great place for one or two people. Private deck area right on the water. You can easily snorkel right from “home” on a calm day. Even though it’s a small living space, all that you need is provided. There’s not a good sandy beach area in front of you, but the upside is not having people walking in “your space”.

Great stay! Highly recommend!

Perfect location. Right on the beach and you can swim and snorkel right off your porch. Can walk down seven mile beach. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store right by. The small efficiency house is kind of like a “tiny home” - small but has everything you need for two low-maintenance people! The couch converts to a bed and they have a foam mattress topper to make it even more comfortable. We didn’t have any issues! Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted to be oceanfront and close to good snorkeling. Beautiful beach, amazing snorkeling when we had the energy to swim out to the reef. Especially loved the shaded deck and barbecue. The studio is small but has everything you need. Suggestions: queen bed instead of sofa, add love seat under tv, and please add full length mirror kitchen wall by refer. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Location, location, location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place, though small, packed a lot in for our vacation. Unbelievable snorkeling a couple hundred yards off the beach, and short swim/walk to cemetery beach that has the best snorkeling on the island. It is only a 5 minute drive to Macabuca's for some amazing food and shore diving, as well as the Turtle Center which is a must see for turtle lovers! The best part of this place was the fact that its on the northern edge of 7 mile beach and with no other renters in the 2 homes next to us we had the entire beach to ourselves, it was amazing. We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This tiny house was absolutely perfect for my five days on Grand Cayman. I came primarily for snorkeling and relaxation and this location was perfect. I snorkeled right from the back door and used the outdoor shower. The location was very convenient for traveling to the best snorkeling spots on the island. There's a nearby grocery store and an even closer convenience store and liquor store. Heritage Kitchen is an amazing authentic outdoor eatery just a couple minutes' walk from the house (bring your own alcohol if you want it); I only ate there once (on my last day) and wish I would have eaten there more often. The house was exceptionally clean and was very well-appointed. It had everything I needed as far as extra bedding, soft fluffy bath towels and beach towels, and kitchen supplies. I traveled solo as a woman and almost stayed at a hotel just to have other people nearby, but when I saw this little house on the water I just couldn't resist it, and I'm SO GLAD I decided to stay there. I felt safe the entire trip and it felt luxurious. I'd stay there again in a HEARTBEAT.

Fabulous!

We loved this property! It is small but it was clean, efficient, and had everything we needed. The deck is wonderful... it has this amazing sea grape tree giving great shade, making the deck comfortable no matter what the temperature. The view is stunning... 180º view of the beautiful turquoise water which is literally steps away from the deck. The snorkeling was phenomenal. 150 yards out there you'll find an incredible variety of fish and coral. I saw so many different fish as well as a stingray, octopus, and 3 nurse sharks. The water was warm, calm, with incredible visibility. Best snorkeling I experienced on the whole island. Actually the best snorkeling experience I've ever had because of the ease of access, warmth of the water, variety of fish and creatures, and visibility. The VRBO is in West Bay which is at the northern end of the island and away from the cruise ships in Georgetown... it is quiet. It's also near some interesting areas like Macabuca, the turtle center, and of course, Hell. The property managers were accessible and extremely helpful with any directions or any assistance needed. They were a joy to talk with about the island and some of the history of the VRBO. The roosters, hens, and curly-tailed lizard were a bonus! We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
