Our stay at Shades of Blue was amazing! The views were incredible. This is the first property we stayed at where the pool was heated to pleasant temperature.The house had plenty of amenities and was well taken care of. Louie was readily available if we needed anything for the house or if we were looking for recommendations on places to go.The house is close to many beaches, shopping, and restaurants.We would not hesitate to stay at Shades of Blue again!

This is a gorgeous home in a great location run by a wonderful communicative host and her great on-island staff. We’ve stayed many places, and Lisa has stocked her home with everything you could possibly need from beach toys to a complete and organized kitchen.

The property manager was very helpful. The house is well equipped and is right on the water. We really enjoyed the views from the top bedroom. They also had Sunday ticket for the nfl which was very appreciated!

Our stay here was AWESOME! The Host was very helpful with answering questions prior to the visit; decorated the Villa for Christmas for us!. Local representative was also very helpful and responsive to questions and needs. We definitely recommend Shades of Blue for your Grand Cayman visit!!

Family Celebration

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property! The communication between the owners and staff was greatly appreciated and very detailed. The property is just gorgeous and our family had a wonderful time and wanted to stay longer. When we had a minor issue that needed to be fixed the property manager Emma was just fantastic in fixing everything in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this property to anyone as it is truly a wonderful experience we hope to someday return.

Amazing stay

Perfect Accommodations

Two families - four adults and four children aged 4-8 stayed 6 nights at Shades of Blue for our spring break. Lisa and Emma were perfect communicators. They were always available by text or message to answer questions and provide thorough suggestions for food/beaches/things to do. The home is right on the beach and has an amazing heated pool. We were 10-20 mins away from Seven Mile Beach and less than 10 minutes from West Bay attractions like the Turtle Center and restaurants like Cracked Conch and Nourish and the grocery store. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and relax with our families.We really enjoyed our stay.

Family trip

Everything was just right! communication to the well appointed kitchen. We visited with our adult children and we had plenty of space and everything we needed. Views of sunset and sunrise were perfect. Patio area was lovely for hanging out for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. I would recommend and have already. Would stay again.

Excellent stay - Fantastic place

We loved the place and thee views were amazing. The location was a bit north of Seven Mile Beach, but everything was super convenient and we liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the main hotel areas. And there were some great restaurants up our way that we hadn’t been to before. We will definitely look this house up again when we come again to Grand Cayman. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. As for the hosts and staff, couldn’t ask for a better host. They were very accommodating to us, especially since we had travel issues. And on the back end, they helped us with airport delays. Communication with easy and very timely. If we had a question, answer was just as quick back to us. They were so helpful and Emma was a joy to work with at the property. She checked us in and was sending us text reminders to help us all week. They were never over barring, but always ready to help quickly. One the the best hosts we have had. Amazing Slice of Paradise

We recently enjoyed a week-long stay at this property with my parents, my husband, our 7-month-old, and me, and it was truly wonderful. The pool and views were breathtaking, and the communication with the property managers was excellent. They had prosecco waiting for us on arrival, and assistance was readily available whenever we needed it. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to the Cayman Turtle Centre, Seven Mile Beach, and Governor's Beach. There’s even a 5-star restaurant about 1.5 miles away. We were treated to stunning sunsets and sunrises, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing family getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!Having a car allowed us to easily visit various attractions and enjoy the island at our own pace. This property served as a superb home base for our adventures, combining comfort with convenience.

Wonderful family stay

We took a family vacation (7 adults and 2 children) for five nights here and it was perfect! We had no problem calling the hostess if we needed something and always got a prompt response. The house had everything we needed, including g lots of room For us to spread out, pool area and yard very nice, always clean. Beach right out the back door and not far from anywhere we wanted to go. We hired a chef for a four course dinner one night and it was absolutely unbelievable! We had dinner on.y for the adults but when one of the kids wanted to taste the food he (chef Remy) fixed him a small plate. Perfect vacation spot! Area and back

Comfortable house with nice views

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean spacious. Everything went very smoothly. When we experienced one problem with the doors, the maintenance staff was there very quickly to fix the issue. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Oceanfront Vacation Home

Anniversary Family Vaca

We had an amazing time! We loved the location and privacy of this Villa spot. We spent a lot of time cooking and eating together then swimming in the pool and playing pickleball. The beds were great and comfortable. We stayed 7 days and even enjoyed the rainy day on the outdoor covered back porch talking and playing games. We visited 7 mile beach, governors beach and really enoyed cemetery beach on our last day. Stingray city was amazing along with our deep sea fishing. Favorite place to eat was Silver Side for Fried Snapper Sandwiches and Heritage Kitchen for authentic island food!! We love the Cayman Islands!

Perfection!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The villa is spacious with beautiful water views. The beds are very comfortable, and despite very warm temperatures outside, the villa stayed cool and comfortable. The location was very convenient to all of the restaurants and activities. All of our questions were answered promptly. It was so quiet and private; we really couldn't have asked for more. It is a 5-star location for sure. I would stop looking now and book this lovely place for your stay!

In Transition

A lot or work is needed on the property: Bathroom faucets were broken as were the sliding glass doors. We could never get the Kitchen Stove to work—despite using the Operation Manual provided. It appeared the Manual did not match the Stove. A number of tiles need to be replaced in the swimming pool. Beach furniture is dated. Beautiful outside setting in a quiet residential area. Private pool and outside covered deck were terrific.

Perfect location, AC can’t keep up

Amazing location and beach. The foyer has a step that is easily missed and a member of our group hurt their knee badly. The 1st floor bedrooms would not cool down and made it difficult to sleep. Well stocked kitchen, and nice sport facilities. House manager was very communicative.

House on the Beach

House was very clean and up to date and was spacious enough for the 8 of us. Gorgeous view of the ocean but was very rocky in the water. We still enjoyed the ocean nonetheless. Had a few minor issues but they were taken care of in a very timely manner.

Great stay in West Bay

We went as a family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 11-15). We all had a wonderful time! The home was exactly how it was listed…. And the location was 15 minutes to everything. Eve helped us with provisioning beforehand which was lovely as we arrived on Easter and everything was closed. She was very communicative and friendly and was even able to accommodate us for an early check in which was lovely as we came from California and had a red eye so we were all exhausted. I’d highly recommend this property based on cleanliness, location, and our wonderful hostess.

Relaxing Oceanfront family getaway!

Our family ( 3 adult couples and an infant) spent 11 wonderful and relaxing days in Beautiful West Bay. Our booking was seamless as was our checking in and we were welcomed with some complimentary wine and well equipped kitchen. There is a Weber BBQ as well (thoroughly cleaned inside and out by a maintenance person on our first day there!) The large air conditioned bedrooms were a dream after long sunny , hot days and the private pool was used extensively by adults and the infant alike! We snorkeled right off the front of the property and saw many fish, conches, even a small stingray. ( the waterfront where you enter the ocean is mostly coral... but within a few hundred feet there are a couple of sandy spots where you can enter and exit in comfort... having said that, water shoes would be a smart thing to bring with you if snorkelling is your thing). A wonderful tennis court is just steps away from the back door (literally) and we took advantage of this almost daily. (Raquets and balls were provided right in the home for us to use... there are basketball hoops and ball as well... NOTE: it was best to do earlier in the morning when the temperature was cooler and the wind was still light). Every day there was a beautiful breeze and if you are a sun lover you won't be disappointed... but there are plenty of shaded areas as well to keep you comfortable. We would recommend renting a vehicle as the grocery store is not walking distance. All in all we had a wonderful stay!!

A perfect West Bay getaway

We love West Bay but it’s hard to find nice places on the beach that are big enough. This property was perfect for our family of 6. Basketball court for the teen boys. Pool was perfect for my daughter who spent hours in it. Gym was small but well equipped and equipment was all very nice. One of the bedroom/bathroom layouts was a little weird (it looks like they converted the garage) but it was a nice room and the boys figured it out. Beach was right out back, gorgeous, with truly fantastic snorkeling right there. Hammock was delightful, outdoor area was nice and shaded with comfy furniture. Host was very communicative and responsive to questions. We all very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
