"A great place to stay! The neighborhood was pretty quiet, but there was an occasional loud car that drove by. The stairs are a little steep, but we were able to get up them just fine. "I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!"

"The dupilex was clean & very comfortable for our family. We had everything we needed provided. The AC was cool when we arrived, plenty of fans for the upstairs bedrooms, there was plenty of hot water & water pressure for showers. The neighborhood was quiet & safe, with lots of food options nearby. Check in & out was easy peasy with minimal check out expectations. About 10 min drive from air museum. The stairs are steep as advertised, but also had good sturdy handrails."
