THE AREA.Situated at the edge of the unique and famous environment of Strofilia pine forest in a protected by NATURA and RAMSAR convention area with lots of wild birds,turtles,insects,rats and other wild and protected animals,surrounded by Prokopos lake on one side with many birds and fish,and the 9,5 klm sandy beach on the other side awarded the "blue flag" from Europe for crystal clear waters, is the ideal place for walking,bicycles,bird and fish watching ,offering the opportunity to live in a natural environment,yet close to lots of amenities and sports.There are tennis court,swimming pool and water games in short distance while beach parties are common every weekend.
There are bakeries,groceries,many supermarkets and 2 Health centers and pharmacies in less than 20 kilometers and 3 big hospitals in Patras (35 kilometers).Nice and fairly cheap tavernas offer local fresh meat and fish all around the Villa or at nearby villages,while the area is well known for producing melons,watermelons,fresh beans,aubergines and strawberries.The sandy beach extends for 9.5 klm along the Strofilia Forest and 3 canteens with parasols and beach chairs are spread across.Parasols and beach chairs are also offered by Villa Dunes for isolation across the beach awarded every year by the "blue flag" of European inspection as the clearest and calm beach at West Peloponnese .


WHAT TO VISIT.Olympia is 40 minutes drive towards Pyrgos,Delphi 90 minutes drive through Nafpactos and picturesque Galaxidi,Pilos 90 minutes drive through Pyrgos -Kiparissia,Killini and then to Kefalonia or Zakynthos island 15 minutes drive,and Mega Spilaio about 90 minutes through Aigio-Diakofto-Kalavrita or by the unique smallest train in Europe that climbs up with its "teeth" to the mountains.
