Very clean place
Very nice clean space. Bathroom very very small. No room to put things on the sink and shower was tiny. A little expensive for the space. But the people are very nice and they have a club house room with Pool table and a pool. We did not use because we were only there one night.

Chelsey was absolutely great to work with, she advised that our room was ready for check in, we had a late check in and she did exactly as she advised she was going to do. She was also attentive to us needing towels and she provided us with them after hours. I’m so pleased with the whole experience!

Comfortable stay at Drakes Island Resort
Chelsea greeted us and made us feel welcome, cabin was comfortable and clean, location is in good proximity to nearby destinations.

Good value for the money
Nice little studio type place. Very quiet at night, close to shopping and some restaurants. No place to walk nearby was a drawback for me

We loved our stay and will come back next year when the craft festival is back. clean, had everything we needed and a great restaurant next door we could walk to after a long day at a show in a tent.

The only things I did not love was the bed and the ac. The bed was not to my liking comfort wise. But that’s a preference I suppose. And the ac in our room either barely worked or turned the room into a freezer. Otherwise everything about this place was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and well kept and the game room is a nice addition. Would definitely stay here again

Highly Recommend
Very cute, clean , quite and well maintained spot. And very dog friendly. Modest spot but all the amenities you’d need. I’d highly recommend and I would return if I visit the area again.

If there was something that you needed, there is a call box located by the office door which I believe you may have used to check in, and my cell phone number was provided when I texted you that your room was ready for an early check in. Great little place to stay close to all the beaches staff was very friendly and accommodating rooms were clean. Would highly recommend for a long weekend get away. Pet friendly which is a plus

A New Favorite Place
Our room was very clean and comfortable. Decorated very nice with ocean accents. Wish I could have stayed a little longer. Beach was a short ride away.

The property was easy to find and had a variety of cabins and small motel. Staff were friendly and helpful any time they were approached. This is a dog friendly place. The buildings and grounds were well maintained. There was a small cafe that served a great breakfast. We had plenty of towels.

Super dog friendly option
We found this place because we were traveling with our two small pups. This was absolutely perfect for our needs and we were all very comfortable (including the pups). Very kind and dog friendly. The bed was comfortable, the accommodations clean and spacious enough for us. Nice and quiet at nighttime.

This is a great location, is dog friendly, remarkably clean and comfortable, easy to find and close to all services and beaches. The grounds are well kept and the staff is very personable and thoughtful. A great place to visit any time of year.

If you are traveling with your dog this is a good option. The owner Shelly was very accommodating and friendly. Everyone picked up after their pets. We stayed in one of the cabins and were very comfortable for a few days! The pool looked nice and clean but it was too cool to swim.

Never again!!
First thing we were told was that there was no maid service. Our room was freezing cold when we arrived,upon turning on the thermostat, it became oppressively hot. The room was the smallest “room” I have ever seen, it would have been fine as a closet. The shower was impossible. The only positive I can mention is the room was clean when we arrived.

We booked on a Friday for a two night stay on Sunday and Monday. Honestly we did not expect much for a last minute booking but what we found was a cute, cozy room. After spending the days we have already decided we want to go back and book a week next year for a cottage for a week. We truly enjoyed the time away and they made us feel right at home. Short walk or close drive to everything we wanted to see and do. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cozy and clean, good water pressure in shower, comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet. Only complaint was that the towels, hand towels, and facecloths were old and tattered, and a little rough to the touch. The AC unit was small and barely kept up on a 95degree day. Would definitely come back again, just may bring our own towels.
