Our Beautiful Wellfleet Oasis

Very clean, updated and plenty of space. Easy access to all local activities and great for morning walks with our dog. Would definitely recommend it and plan to return!

Good but not Great

I’ve rented many homes all over the world and I have to say this experience was somewhat disappointing. I received a list of rules and information about what the renters responsibilities were, but very little info about the landlords responsibilities. The house did not come with any bed linen or towels, a first in my experience. Usually a house comes provided with one or two dish towels, a trial size of dish washing liquid, a few dishwasher pods, etc. This house came with absolutely nothing. In addition the master bedroom dresser was missing a drawer, there was no iron or ironing board, the gas grill was filthy and one of the outdoor lounge chairs was damaged. Although this was reported to the rental agent, nothing was corrected although an iron and ironing board was dropped off. There was a problem with the availability of hot water. The four bathrooms could not sustain hot water. After three showers there was no hot water left. Given the rental cost for this house and our overall experience I would not recommend anyone renting it.

Family & Friends Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A beautiful dog friendly home. Large enough for family and friends. Yard beautiful and accommodating to pets which was very much appreciated (as compared to most vacation homes). Kitchen ample and well stocked. Nice porch. Living space relaxing able to accommodate everyone. Best feature was the first floor master bedroom (king) and adjoining bath. Other bedrooms upstairs and great for our large group. A very nice neighborhood too which was great for the family/dog walks. Convenient location to ocean beaches and town center. Great vacation property and worth the price especially if you are seeking a very clean pet friendly vacation rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful, spacious home in excellent location. Yet very quiet as well. Easy access to Route 6, beaches, downtown in Wellfleet. Very comfortable. Deck with pet gate a bonus for us. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Modern bathrooms and gorgeous showers. Outdoor shower too. As a new rental, our only suggestion would be a bit more attention to kitchen supplies. We were surprised that a Cape rental of such quality did not have supplies for opening and eating lobsters. A blender would also have been nice. Overall excellent though, these are minor details.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week in Wellfleet and the house was big enough for our whole family. Most of the amenities were great: well-stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, and a deck with everything you could want. There were a few downsides. The hot water heater doesn't have enough capacity for more than a few showers. The pillows were few and some were hard. We could have used a few more bed covers.
