A perfect spot with an unobstructed, perfect view to to the bay. The house was spotless, cute and comfortable. The owner’s binder on restaurants, , activities and local maps was awesome.

Beautiful Views and Nice Decor

Great location with beautiful views, very comfortable beds and lots of kitchen equipment, washer and dryer was appreciated as were the game equipment we borrowed from the basement. We liked that the decor had a touch of "beach house" but was not overdone.

Quaint cottage

The cottage is absolutely perfect. 3 bedrooms are perfect. The basement is full of outdoor games. The interior has many games books and many kitchen accessories. Best part is it is on the Bay! We had a great stay. Will definitely stay again

Fantastic Water View and Location

We have stayed at this amazing property three times, and we will be going back again next year! The view of the waterfront is expansive and truly gorgeous. The location of the cottage is perfect, right by the bay beach and also close to restaurants. The property is very clean too. Highly recommend!

This is the best spot on the planet. So gorgeous and the cottage was lovely and iconic of a beach house. We absolutely loved our visit. There were sand toys for the kids, beach chairs, games, full kitchen setup, and we were feet from the ocean. ❤️

Wonderful stay!

Our family of six (including 4 teens) truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cottage overlooking the gorgeous bay. We enjoyed swimming, watching the tidal changes, walking to Mac's for ice cream and lobster rolls, and playing pickleball at the nearby courts. The location was perfect for relaxing and short trips to Provincetown and Great Island Trail. Kathleen was incredibly responsive and welcoming. We are grateful to have found this special spot.

Awesome location, home, and communication

Everything was perfect. Kathleen was available from the start to ensure her cottage was the right fit for our family of 5 (it was!), to offer insights about amenities, access, and nearby sites, and to respond quickly to any question that arose, however trivial. Lovely in all ways!

Our favorite spot

This is our third time staying and everything about the house and stay was perfect. Check in was seamless. When we ran out of propane it was replaced within two hours(!?!), and the house continues to always be so clean and have improvements every time we stay. 5+ stars!

The sun always shines on Welfleet

Adorable cottage overlooking the private beach! Beautiful views, perfect to sit at the picnic table with your morning coffee or at night watching the stars twinkle. Cross breezes keep the cottage cool…. We walked in to a fresh bouquet of wild flowers on the island! How thoughtful and pretty! The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with just about every kitchen tool one might need. Meticulously clean and tidy. Everything from kids games to fans to cleaning supplies. Everything we needed was there. Kathleen was responsive to the few questions we did have. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful, relaxing, last minute family get away.

My family of 6 was not planning to go on vacation this summer. The stars aligned and when we discovered this little cottage in Wellfleet, we couldn’t pass it up. Amazingly, due to a cancelation, the only week we could escape town, this cottage was now available. It was wonderful. Great location and in the middle of everything. With a family of 6, the only tricky part was one bathroom, but We figured out a routine and it actually wasn’t that bad. This cottage is directly on the water,, walking distance to everything in town and Kathleen was very attentive and quick to respond with any questions. The cottage was clean, fully stocked with beach chairs/toys for kids/family games, kitchen had everything you needed. It is small, but families with 4 kids can make it work. Thank you Kathleen for sharing this wonderful little treasure that my family was able to make lots of memories in. ❤️

Ocean front cottage

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Wellfleeter cottage number 9. We put our 10 and 6 year old on the room with two twin beds and the 4 year old in the room with a full. My husband and I took the queen. The Cottage was very well stocked with basic spices, olive oil, balsamic, and dish towels. Big pots are in the basement. There are plenty of plates, mugs, cups, including kid-friendly non-breakable options. We loved the toys in the closet and the beach toys in the basement. The location was fantastic - we walked to a playground, which also had tennis and pickle ball courts. And we could walk to Mac's seafood. Big kids or adults could walk to town. We just drove and parked near Hatch's to go to town. In the mornings, the tide is low and we could dig, make sand castles with moats or walk out to see the oyster farmers. In the afternoons the tide is high and the water goes up the sea wall, but without big waves. This creates a pool effect and is perfect for floaties. The unit has WIFI, but the television has cable and no smart options. We purchased a Roku device and an HDMI cable and it worked perfectly. I recommend guests bring these items or that the cottage invest in a system that guests can log into. My children do not understand broadcast cable. All in all, a wonderful stay in a beautiful place!

Highly recommend: beautiful views, sandy beach, well-stocked, convenient to Wellfleet's best

Our family of 5 (kids 10, 8, and 6) were happy to call this cottage on the beach our home for three weeks in Summer 2022. The cottage is truly waterfront behind a seawall with an unimpeded 270 degree view of Wellfleet Harbor (the Gut and Great Island, Mayo Beach, and the Federal channel). From sunup to sundown you can watch the comings and goings of the working shell/fishing fleet and pleasurecraft. There's a fantastic sandy beach just down the stairs traversing the seawall, though you should know there is no usable beach area at the peak of high tide. Nevertheless this leaves you with many hours daily of perfect sandy beach without seaweed. As with most Wellfleet beaches, bring your water shoes because there are lots of sharp shells on the beach - especially if you're in the water at low tide. The house has everything - well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms as well as all the beach toys you and your kids could want. It's super convenient - 8-10 minute walk to Mayo Beach, Ceraldi, Mac's On the Pier, and the Pearl in one direction and Chequesset Club (open to the public) in the other direction. 20 minute walk to Mac's Shack. 25 minute walk to BOL, Wellfleet Market, Hatch's, Emack and Bolio's, Sickday, and everything else in Wellfleet Center. If you're a runner this is the best place in Wellfleet you can stay - you can easily have a 10 mile scenic, hilly route without needing to set foot onto Route 6.

Great week in Wellfleet made even better at this beautiful location. Clean, right on the water, walking distance to food, ice cream, and beautiful strolls. Twnth minute drive to Provincetown. Looking forward to returning!
