Awesome Hosts and House

Jerry and Janet were amazing hosts and were very accomodating and helpful! The pictures do not do this house, or surrounding area, justice. It is a beautiful location and my family and I had an amazing week!

Amazing Stay!

Wonderful property that is exactly as advertised. Beautiful house from top to bottom with all the amenities you might need for a week long stay. Location is perfect for both Alex Bay and Clayton, TI Country Club and Boldt Castle. Will be coming back again soon!!!

Fantastic Property

We stayed at this property for a Celebration of Life for a passed family member. The property managers are outstanding! We had an issue prior to checking in and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. This house has plenty of bathrooms and can work well for 14-16 people. Queen Bunks! The kitchen is well stocked for serving large gatherings and has everything you need. The view is great and you can almost touch the huge cargo ships that pass frequently. We tried hard to think of something that wasn’t spot on and failed miserably. A special thanks to Janet!! She was super attentive to change requests and phone calls. This is a first class property owned and managed by first class individuals. Do Not Hesitate to book this property.

Family Time in Prime Location

This is our family’s third year at this vacation rental, and it continues to impress. We loved being able to play outdoor games in the expansive yard and dining outside at the large umbrella tables. Central air was especially appreciated due to the heat wave that week. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the open floor plan gives plenty of room for family members to spread out. We’ll be back.

Phenomenal house and surroundings!

Our rental experience was great from beginning to end. The house is beautiful. It's a beautiful location on the river. The amenities were superb. We will definitely try to go there again. The homeowners were very approachable, and very easy to work with.

Great Place for Family Vacation

My husband and I rented this location for a week with our grown children and grandchildren. We had a great time. The children were able to swim and fish off the dock. We rented a pontoon boat and easily boated to surrounding places of interest. Even though it's right on the main channel, the cottage is located in a small bay so we could paddle around on kayaks and paddle boards out of the way of the main boat traffic.

Great house

The house was great for our family. When we arrived we were way short on towels. Never did get enough. Could have used a heads up on how to use the grill. Water was very low swimming not great. We bought six wine glasses and left them. Overall we had a great time.

Loved the view of barges and wildlife!

We really enjoyed this house with its view of the channel. We were able to dock a boat we rented and travel to Boldt Castle within a few minutes. We also enjoyed Wellesley Island State Park and Thousand Island Park that are just 10 minute drive from the house. The house has nice appliances and provides everything you need for a comfortable vacation.

Great Family Vacation

This was our 3rd year staying in this beautiful house, so that shows how much we enjoy it. Watching ships passing by while relaxing on the porch was a favorite pastime, and the large table in the great room was perfect for family card playing and games. Jerry and Janet always respond quickly to any questions, which shows their commitment to their guests. We’ll be returning next year.

Week away with your siblings

All my siblings and our families stayed here for 1 week. The house is big enough so everyone can have their own space. The house is amazing. Everything you need is there. Just sitting on the dock watching all the freight ships go by is just another perk. The extra yard space is great for playing outside games. We rented a pantoon boat for the week and docked it right at the house. Just had to be careful of the low water level getting in and out of the dock. The fish that we caught and released from the dock were incredible. The owners were quick to respond if we had any questions before or during our trip. I would recommend this property.

Great location and great hosts.

Our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Wellesley Island and the 1000 Islands. The house Is right on the river and has a dock that easily accommodated the pontoon boat we rented. The owners, Jerry and Janet, were quick to answer all of our questions and the house was well equipped with kitchen items, games, blankets, etc. The house has a very welcoming feel and the kids were very comfortable in the house as well as in the yard. The house is right on the river so if you have young children, as we do, you will need to watch them. That said, the area directly bordering the yard and the dock is relatively shallow and the water was not quick moving. We did choose to travel at the end of the busy season but found a lot of things to do and the weather was perfect. I would recommend this location and this house.
