We really enjoyed our two night stay here, so much so we know we’d like to stay here again. The intention was to have a quiet, cozy getaway in the mountains, and just be surrounded by nature. All of those boxes were checked. It actually rained a lot while there, and we loved the sound of rainfall on the metal tile roof. It lulled us to sleep…so peaceful.
Really enjoyed reading the backstory on how the cabin was built.

Unfortunately, we misread the advertisement and thought the river access was included with this cabin. Sadly, the rude neighbor came down and stood there to let us know we were trespassing and on his property. We thought we had carefully read the instructions, but sadly, we did not read them correctly. We were never able to find the public access point, although we spent a fair amount of time looking. There is no privacy, the pictures are misleading, and after the encounter, we felt uncomfortable, and the neighbor can see you from every part of the outdoor space. We decided to leave and not stay the night. The cabin is cute and was very clean.

Amazing Place

Beautiful location with some history

The cabin is in a perfect location for exploration. As a historian I enjoy wandering around the Oregon/Barlow Trail sites. Also I enjoy taking photos so this is the perfect place. Everything in and around the cabin was perfect!

Cozy little cabin

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pictures made it look bigger in the pictures but once we settled in it was perfect. Wood stove really made it warm and nastagic.

This cabin was so cute. I loved the stiry and history if the cabin the hosts had in the room. EVERYTHINC was labeled which made it so much easieer to find and function in a the space. We had some issues woth our code to get it but it was quickly resolved. Another amazing stay.

Best F’ing Cabin!

Beautiful cabin!

We loved staying here! The neighborhood was beautiful and sit nearby a flowing river that has a bench so you can sit and take in all the natural beautiful. We are tall so we did have a little trouble with how small the shower was but it should be fine for the average adult. Overall, 10/10!

Great local spot

Came in for only one night but had a great time in the area. Place is small but perfectly sized for 1 or 2 and tucked into a quiet side street off the main highway. Good local spots nearby and Mt Hood is maybe 15-20 min drive.

Cozy, well-maintained cabin in a quiet neighborhood

The home has been taken care of over the years. Kitchen was well-supplied with decent quality cookware. Whole place was spotlessly clean; no trace that anyone else had been there. We walked to the river, drank coffee on the porch, napped in the recliners and ate great home-cooked food.

Summer stay

Had a great little getaway at this cute, quiet cabin. Really enjoyed the stillness and tranquility. We are avid bird watchers, so it was great for that. We would recommend putting up some bird feeders and maybe 1 additional mirror for the inside. Other than that, everything was amazing!

Great for short stay

Had everything we needed for a weekend stay! Only drawback was lack of washer and dryer for a longer stay but the real treat was that the tap water was not only potable but great tasting and we didn't need anything bottled. Would stay again for a short trip.

Wonderful Extended Getaway

This tiny cabin was lovely. Appreciated the book describing the cabin's history. The queen (?)-sized bed, which has recently replaced the sofa bed, was very comfortable. However, it made the living room/dining nook less spacious. Walkable neighborhood. Felt safe. One neighbor was on the noisier side on Saturday night. Could hear their voices carrying into cabin. Fortunately, their guest finally left before midnight.

Quiet Retreat!

It was a great getaway to be close to the mountain for skiing! We also really enjoyed walking down to the Sandy River. It was very quiet and relaxing! The cabin is very cute and cozy and the kitchen is great! it has everything we needed to be able to cook. The bed was a little uncomfortable, we just would bring a foam mattress to put on top next time. We enjoyed our visit!
