Our holiday flat is located at the front of the Finkenmühle on the first floor, with direct access at ground level to the small south-facing terrace, from which you have a beautiful view of the grounds of the Finkenmühle riding stables across the adjoining meadow.
Sufficient parking spaces are available to guests on the property. In addition, there is a rider's parlour with an outdoor terrace and barbecue right on the farm, where cosiness is a top priority. Our holiday flat Luna with a small terrace is located in the front area of the Finkenmühle on the first floor and has a hallway with wardrobe, a large living/dining area with fitted kitchen with freezer, a bedroom with double bed (160cm x 200cm), a second bedroom (children's room) with bunk bed (2 x 90cm x 200cm) and a bathroom with shower and WC. The living/dining area is furnished with a large sofa with recamiere (extendable to a double bed with 140cm width), a dining table with 4 chairs, a large flat screen TV, a large chest of drawers with plenty of storage space and a small stereo system with USB connection and Bluetooth function. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, freezer, hob with oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all important kitchen utensils. The dining area leads directly onto the small terrace at ground level, which has a table, chairs with cushions, a barbecue and a parasol. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160cm x 200cm), a bedside table with mobile phone charging station, two reading lamps, a shelf and a large sliding-door wardrobe. The second bedroom (children's room) has a bunk bed (2 x 90cm x 200cm) with two sleeping options (also for adults), a wardrobe and a shelf with books (from beginner to adult readers) and board games. The bathroom, which was completely renovated in 2017, has a walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin with a large mirror.
The nearby Weißenstädter See lake (3.5 km) is ideal for fishing, swimming, surfing and pedal boating. There is also a lovely playground and a water playground for younger guests. The Ochsenkopf is approx. 10 kilometres away and offers numerous activities, such as a summer toboggan run and a well-run climbing forest. Wunsiedel, approx. 10 kilometres away, attracts visitors with the Luisenburg, a bird of prey park and a rock labyrinth. Bayreuth with the Richard Wagner Festival is approx. 40 km away and Eger/Cheb is also approx. 40 km away. The Fichtelgebirge also has a lot to offer in winter, such as cross-country skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, downhill skiing and winter or snowshoe hiking.
The horses, ponies, goats, bunnies and chickens are waiting for guests of all ages to ride, groom, stroke and cuddle them. There are also plenty of guest boxes available for your own horses. Riding on the farm's own horses or your own, hiking and cycling/mountain biking is possible directly from the front door. The landlords are also happy to provide further tips for a varied holiday.
