Winter retreat

In all the house was nice. Cleanliness could have been a lot better. The upstairs bath had water plugged in it with mold floating and found previous guests things under bed upstairs. The beds were LOUD. Disrupted sleep for others every time you rolled over. But all in all ok.

Lake Peace

The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Our "grands" wanted to fish so we will have to come again when the water is up. Very peaceful and quiet.

A little chilly....

Arrived to a cold house at 50 degrees. Did warm up with turning on furnace after about 45 minutes. No dish towels- they would have been nice. Had to use bath towels in the kitchen. No wifi and poor cell service. We actually like this property and have stayed here previously. Suspect that the details a little lax because off season for a lake house.

Cabin on the Lake

My group of two adults and 7 teens thoroughly enjoyed their time. We were able to plan our yearly activities and enjoy the lake and all it has to offer. The teens enjoyed using the paddle boats and swimming in the lake. It was very easy to put our boat in. The cabin is definitely well-lived in with some items left in cabinets, fridge, pantry, etc. The fridge leaks water inside, so careful of what you put in there. The dining room table only seats 6, but we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating for suppers together. There wasn't any cell service (which kept teens from being on their phones all day) or WiFi which prevented us from using the internet to help us plan. Also, there was lots of ants in the kitchen. We put out traps, but it didn't put much of a dent in them. Overall, it served it's purpose and we enjoyed our time by the lake. Perfect location!

Run down cabin, in a subdivision.

This rental is in a subdivision, with only 2 parking spaces. The cabin is very small with oversized furniture, which makes it hard to even move from one side of the room to the other.The refrigerator leaks water all over your food, and the ice maker doesnt work. The light in the upstairs bathroom doesn't work, and it's extremly hard to turn the shower on. The beds upstairs are uncomfortable and noisy. The roof has a terrible leak.There is no wifi and my phone did not work the entire week. We were staying the week and there was no where to put groceries, because the pantry is full of useless junk.The only thing good about this rental is the lake.

We enjoyed our time. Kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Only one suggestion is to reduce decorative items especially flat surfaces.

Great trip

The property area and house were very nice, clean and as described. House number/ house color is a little bit difficult to see in the dark, but we found it. The location on the map before booking is a couple of miles difference than the actual location, but not a game changer. Host was very communicative. We had a great time. Thank You.

Overall a good experience with a few pros and cons

Pros: house was very clean on the inside and very well stocked. Beds were super comfortable and overall was a nice place to stay. Cons: not boat friendly at all. Boat parking is up the hill away from the house and no way to keep a eye on it. Ramp was completely un usable because of winter pool which is most places on this lake at this time of the year. Grill was completely rusted to the point of not being able to cook on it. and only 2 eyes worked. And porch had several rotted boards on it that was super weak when you step on them overall nice place with just a few cons. Don’t hesitate to book for your nxt trip.

Nice cabin

The cabin was nice and clean. There were a few things I wish were better described. They talked about their dock but it is a shared dock. I didn’t realize how close the neighbors were. The pavilion is a public pavilion and a few days before we arrived, we received instructions on how to get there and how to check in but the owner also asked that we not turn the air below 75 because she stated the units would freeze up. People are used to different temperatures and I think this should have been included in the description. Overall we had a good time but wish the description would have been better before we booked it.

Host is so easy to work with!

The house was nice. We weren’t super impressed with the lake near the property. We rented a boat from the marina and had to drive to another part of the lake that was less muddy and more open. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is well stocked. We had a great time!

Great place to stay

Overall the place was great and had plenty of room for our family who was here for a dedication service of our old home place. The owner gave great directions on how to get to the property and how to get into the property. You could tell the exterminator had been there because fortunately there were dead bugs instead of live ones!!! Thank you for that!!!

Renee was an amazing owner and responded to any and all questions within minutes! The home was immaculate, peaceful and had the most amazing view of the lake. Loved the "lake cabin" vibe! Looking forward to staying here again, next year!
