The Nest is welcoming, cozy, and comfortable. Mike and Jennifer go out of their way to provide a home away from home. The space is filled with books, games, and tons of info about local attractions. On top of this, they provide those little extras you may forget while traveling - toothpaste, body wash, etc. They even make sure the cupboards have more than basic spices with a fully appointed kitchen. Honestly, this is the best, most welcoming vacation rental we have stayed in.

Great place, perfect for Family Day & Graduation with our soldier!

This place is exactly as advertised, clean, updated and very close to Fort Leonard Wood. It had everything we needed and they did a great job decorating the place and having all the essentials to cook and stay there! Highly recommend!

FLW Graduation

My family choose to stay in this beautiful clean and recently renovated home while attending Boot Camp Graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. It was minutes from the base, close to local and franchised restaurants, and quick and easy to get to from the highway.Owner left little treats, such as chocolate and a note, that made the stay feel personable.I would definitely rent from this Owner again if needed.

Great location to fort Leonard wood. If you have plans to go for a graduation. The house felt like it was a home, very clean with all essentials included. Quiet neighborhood, nice back deck. Really couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you so much for welcoming us.

We were there to attend my son’s graduation at Fort Leonardwood. We needed a place with two rooms for me and my husband and my mother.The home had everything that we needed while we were there. It was super clean and exactly how it was shown online.Thanks for the great accommodation. Denise

Cute and comfort place.

This place was really cute and made you feel relaxed. The place had everything you could ask for and the location is just man quiet area with the forest to the back of the house. The hostess awesome. We had issues with the door code and he was Johnny on helping us. It is a great place to stay if you are visoting Ft Lenard wood .

The perfect cute and cozy home

We came to Waynesville for my husband's basic training graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. The house was close to the base as well as stores in town. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so much better than a hotel experience. We were able to cook/grill and relax with our soldier. The owners were very communicative and helpful. The place was clean. We are so glad we chose the Nest for our visit. Thank you Mike and Jennifer for such a pleasant stay.

This home was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with so much thought and care. The living room furniture was incredibly comfortable, and the extra blankets made it perfect for cozy nights on the couch watching a show. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable as well.The house is located in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood, making it a relaxing place to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook, including quality cookware, utensils, and a generous selection of seasonings and sugar to enhance any meal.The owners went above and beyond by leaving a sweet thank-you note along with some delicious chocolates, which was such a thoughtful touch. We only wish the weather had been a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the backyard and deck more—they truly are a highlight of the property.We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to returning on our next visit to town.

Military Stay

I was impressed, the house was very clean. I loved the way they have cleaning supplies on hand and left little snacks out for us. My soldier (son) got to come and get comfortable away from home before he had to return back on base.

Rest at the Nest!!

This was 5plus stars! Quiet, clean, cozy, just perfect. Outside firepit, few neighbors, nothing but trees in the back. Beds comfy and very welcoming!!close to Fort Leonard wood where we went. Great food nearby. Great communication with the owners. You definitely should stay! I was there 3 nights, and enjoyed every second! Games to play books to read!

Great Stay

The host left a kind note for us (our family is going through a difficult time) and some complimentary chocolates. There are so many homey, personal touches throughout the home. The house was very clean, and I am particular about cleanliness when staying somewhere for a trip, so that’s saying a lot! If I need a place to stay again in this area, I will certainly book this property again.

The Nest

The place was perfect for what we wanted. We were attending our daughter’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. Perfect location for that only like 10 min from the base. We were able to bring her there during her family day and after her graduation to spend quality time and have her back by 6 no problem. The place was clean and was perfect. Would stay again if ever back in theat area

Visit with family

The Nest is Fantastic! Extremely clean, all new furniture and appliances. Sheets and towels are all great. Very nice back deck. Very quiet and peaceful.Some neighboring properties are somewhat rundown, but absolutely no noise, issues, concerns.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful upgrade from a hotel, especially for a longer stay.We look forward to our next trip and stay at The Nest.
