The host was very welcoming. My only suggestion would be to put some type of battery powered nightlight on the stairs to the basement rooms especially the landing between the main stairs and the second set of stairs.

We had a great time with our family and Zachary is a great host. The cabin has lots of room. We had 5 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for all. It’s close to Cataloochee - be sure and check out the elk. The kids loved the play area in the woods, the rope course, swings and climbing net. The firepit was great on a cool fall night in the mountains as well. This cabin has lots to offer!

Wedding weekend

We loved the property! Great space to hang out with family, grill some hamburgers, and enjoy firepit a few days before my son’s wedding in Canton, NC. Wonderful

Zachary was so easy to communicate with. His home is extremely well kept, clean and stocked with many amenities. We appreciated the extra care and effort that was put into making the home special. The outside area was great - the kids loved playing on the challenge course area and we all enjoyed the fire pit at night. The beds were comfortable with plenty of space for the kids, parents and grandparents. Everyone was sad to leave and we would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our extra long weekend

We really enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the backyard area. The firepit was probably our favorite spot at the house. The owner was easy to get in contact with and responded promptly to a couple questions we had. Make sure you write down the door code before you get to the house. We didn’t and one of us had to drive down until we had phone service so we could pull up VRBO and access our reservation.

My family and I had such a great time. The house is beautiful and well maintained as is the huge lot its built on. The backyard is so cool with the creek and firepit. We got to meet Ms. Kate at checkout and she was so kind and understanding of our predicament ( car repair taking longer than expected ) . As no one was checking in that night she let us stay a little extra Saturday morning. The combination of Mr. Zach and familys love and pride in ownership with Ms. Kate's pride and abilty to keep the same beauty for all their guests, made for a great week. The Curtis Family P.S. Amazing family trip!!

We always wanted to stay in a cabin…this cabin was perfect!! The grandkids, 6 yrs (girl) and 11 yr (boy) said they want to come back to “their apartment” with log beds downstairs!!! This is how they described their room…😂We hardly heard them or saw them unless we were going somewhere. They had two friends staying nearby and they came over to play outside, sit by the fire pit and roast marshmallows and could not get enough of the ninja courses and little bridges!!! They told their parents we want to stay here. The parents said, no to that, but, told them we could plan another trip up here and see if we could stay in this wonderful cabin…the kids loved thst idea! Our family saw elk (close up)…hiked so many different trails nearby and in Black Mountain. We have the most beautiful photos, met very nice people and ate at so many restaurants and had gorgeous weather!! We cannot say enough about the location, cabin, the grounds, fire pit and beautiful swing and chairs!! The creek was so mesmerizing and peaceful!! Zachary, you and your wife, obviously had a vision and the happiness, laughter and excitement of mountain life your location provided our family was so heartfelt and I appreciate your attention to detail and all the suggestions you and your wife provided were great and most appreciated!!! thank you😎

Awesome location and beautiful area for the grandkids to play

We had a wonderful stay and loved the house, it was nice to arrive and have paper goods, snacks and coffee available to us right away. Loved the view, location and beautiful cascading water down the mountain behind the house with play area for the kids. We had a human error while at the house and the owner was available and most helpful through the process of figuring out what we did and how to get the hot water flowing again. THANK YOU!

Incredible Cabin Perfect Location

Perfect Cabin. Top Notch. Communication with Zachary was impeccable. We spent a lot of time outside by the creek, ninja course, play area and exploring around. At night the creek is beautiful. The sound is incredible. It was not a scary drive up the mountain at all and you could do it without a four-wheel drive. Perfect location. The cabin has everything you could think of. They have truly thought of it all. Our dog was so comfortable and happy. We did not want to leave. We are already thinking of our next trip and a return to this beautiful property. Thank you for allowing us to have wonderful memories and experience our family trip at your cabin. Its truly perfect in every way. You have put a lot of thought and love into the home, you can tell!

This was our second stay at this cabin. It is an amazing location. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Everything you need for the perfect stay is there. Plenty of room for the family. Family Christmas Vacation

We decided to take our adult children all on a trip for Christmas this year. This cabin was the perfect location. Everything was amazing. We all had our own rooms and everything we needed was here. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed grilling steaks one night on the grill. Close to town but private and quiet. The creek out back and firepit area are beautiful! My husband loved the hammock just outside the master bedroom. I highly recommend this for a family getaway!

Spacious House and Responsive Host

The house and property were beautiful. The fire pit and trails put back were awesome. Unfortunately it was a little rainy/wet from snow during our stay so we were unable to use the fire pit. I hope to come back, though, because the entire environment is very relaxing and scenic. Easy check in/check out and Zachary was very quick to respond when we had one concern with the AC. I highly recommend this property.

The owners have thought of everything! We stay in the mountains every year and this is our favorite house we have stayed in. The play area in the back yard was amazing for the kids! The attention to detail was great. Would definitely stay again.

Gentman Drive Stay

This house was "as advertised"; well appointed, spacious, and inviting. The neighborhood is very quiet. The wifi and TV worked well. The rooms are spread over 3 levels, so guests can have quiet time alone or sit together in the great room. I could not get much heat out of the living room electric fireplace. The HEAT/AC worked fine, so it wasn't necessary. The outdoor spaces were great for kids to explore. We had a very nice time.

Beautiful cabin!

Wow! What a beautiful cabin! We were a group of 5 women with a friendship history going back 60 years! We came here for a reunion and we were so impressed! The cabin was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the snack basket on the kitchen island was a nice welcome when we arrived! There was nothing better than having morning coffee on the deck looking at the beautiful mountain scenery! It's a short car ride to Waynesville for exploring and shopping, and about 45 minutes to The Biltmore Estate! We had a wonderful long weekend and we would absolutely book this cabin again!
