My family (kids, sisters, nieces, nephew, parents) have come annually to the MV/W area for 5 years in the Fall. Thanks to Helene, we had to reschedule. No shade to our other stays, but this place was by far our favorite place! It was great to explore a different time of year. Absolutely perfect for us, honestly probably our best time!

Great stay for Thanksgiving getaway!

We had an amazing time at this property with family. Plenty of room for a group of 12, wonderful view, great hot tub :) The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a Thanksgiving dinner. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic views!

The cabin is located in a mostly quiet location with fantastic views of the mountains to the east of I40. The cabin is located just 6 miles from the Catalochee entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park. The owners provided almost everything we could need during the stay. My family enjoyed spending time together around the fire, hot tube, and on the upper deck. It was also easy to find quiet spaces in the cabin for down time.

Mountain Get Away

This house is in a beautiful location, part way up a very windy road, and overlooks a spectacular mountain vista. We got to watch ground hogs, squirrels, chipmunks, birds and bats from the large porch. However, the yard is steep so there is not a good play area for kids. There is plenty of room inside the house to comfortably sleep 10+ people and eat together around a large inside table. The property manager was very responsive and addressed a couple of our concerns.

Great Time!

We and our 4 adult children met for a week. We all loved the house, and the deck/view got us outside to enjoy the wildlife and song birds. We were in and out for days at Biltmore and Dollywood, and the house was a good base in between. Great memories were made!

Great family cabin

The cabin was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only negatives were that two of the beds were very uncomfortable and the hot tub was not hot enough. Other than that, everything was fine. The view was beautiful and the kids loved having the pool table, ping pong table and foosball table to enjoy.

Great House!

House was great! Very well stocked. The only thing I would say that was awkward was 2 of the bathrooms were in bedrooms, so you had to go in rooms with people sleeping to use them. At the check in box the address was incorrect on paperwork and we had to use GPS which took us a gravel one way road that was very scary! The only other thing with this rental was the garbage had to be taken back to the office dumpster 15+ minutes from the home, or we would be charged $50 a bag left. Thank goodness we had a truck to haul it in. Wish I had known ahead of time as this was very inconvenient packing all our belongings next to trash! Over all great home, view and a lot of space.

Relaxing Winter Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this house! The space was just right for our families to be together but have privacy when needed. The fireplace kept us warm, the view is fantastic (sunrises and sunsets were sublime to watch)! The jacuzzi and fire pit were vert appreciated too! We ventured out to Waynesville Main Street, very convenient to get to from the house. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which was a great activity for the kids and adults alike! We would definitely return to this house for a future stay!

Relaxing and Amazing View - Everything you need!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed from kitchen items (no expired items either) to toiletries, laundry detergent, fresh towels and linens, cleaning supplies, etc. We were very pleased. I only have 2 ideas for improvement: 1) an electronic check-in process maybe with key code access to prevent guests from traveling to the main office 2) a more convenient way for trash disposal instead of having to drive it 15-20 min away to a trash station (which was very difficult to open). Other than that it was absolutely perfect!

Amazing chalet

I was so pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and organization of this cabin. The pictures don’t do it justice. The view was incredible with sunrises and the glow of the mountains at sundown. The place was very well kept and clean. I would highly recommend this place!!
