The place was immaculate and very close to town. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants which was nice after being in a car all day going around the wineries. There was a problem with the heat but contacted Ann and her husband was over in 5 minutes to fix it. He was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would come back again.

We rented this property to go away for a few days with our friends. We plan a vacation with these good friends over the past few years and rent through VRBO. This property is one of the best ones that we have rented It is in a great location, very clean and the host was a pleasure to deal with. Even the towels and amenities were great, it felt like you were in a 5 star hotel. We enjoyed the view, the side trips that we took and sitting on the balcony looking over the lake.The trip went well and we would highly recommend this property and host to anyone who wants to visit this area of the country.

We had a very relaxing time exploring the lakes and visiting the waterfalls. The location of the rental was perfect. Every evening we spent sitting by the lake at the fire pit. We even made some new friends sitting around the fire. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful location. Within walking distance of so many places, especially the dining cruise. Has a wonderful balcony that overlooks the lake. The rental was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hosts were also friendly and prompt if we needed something.

It was a lovely place, reasonably priced, beautiful view and location was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We had a great time visiting the various vineyards for wine/cheese and wine/chocolate tastings! Thank you!

We spent a great week at the property in Watkins Glen. Everything was exactly as advertised and is in a perfect location to explore the Finger Lakes region. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching all the activities in the harbor, armed with an appropriate beverage of course. The Host, Ann, was delightful and was very available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay at the property again.

Location is perfect! Great views of the lake and marina. Within a short walk to the main marina, and walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and ice cream shops. Watkins Glen is a nice town. The home is spacious and had sleek furnishings. Decor is sparse which contributed to some echoing. There are stairs within the home, just be aware. The master suite is roomy and had a large closet space. The second bedroom does not have storage space. We loved having access to a garage. A note about some of the exterior sounds in other reviewers' posts, there is a horn/whistle that sounds at 7:00 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, and 3:00 pm. We didn't find out the origin but based on the times, seems like it aligns with a work whistle. We encountered the train only twice in the stay and one day was at 1:00 pm and the other day was at 9:00 am, neither time were during sleeping hours. The host communicated everything we would need to know ahead of our stay, is very friendly, and takes great care of the property grounds. We enjoyed our stay and would be interested in this property in future visits.

Wonderful

Had a great stay. Condo was spacious, spotless, and right by the water. We were able to walk everywhere- did not use our car at all. Took the wine trolley, hiked Watkins Glenn State Park and kayaked Seneca Lake. The accommodations and area did not disappoint- would definitely return.

Marvelous Watkins Glen Apartment

Whenever we visit Watkins Glen, we always stay at this marvelous apartment. The location is perfect - a few minutes' walk to all the town's attractions, restaurants, shops and the magnificent gorge. The owners, Ann & Dan, are so easy to contact and, having met them in person on occasion, they are lovely people. If you are staying in Watkins Glen, this is the place to stay!

Last minute get away!!

We have stayed at this location multiple times to date. It is in a great location (easily walk about town), the owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions and/or issues (of which there were none). Deck the halls

Great stay while experiencing the Seneca Deck the Halls event! Stayed for 2 nights and walked through town to dinner while snow was falling. Quiet and relaxing stay, minus the all the stairs, definitely did not gain a pound! Highly recommend

Adorable townhouse

I knew there were train tracks nearby but I didn’t realize they are right out the front door. And the train went by at 7am on Saturday and shook the whole apartment lol Views are great and the unit is clean and well stocked.

Beautiful lake views

We enjoyed our stay at the Seneca Sunset. Location was perfect, easy access to everything. Morning coffee on the deck was a treat. The accommodations were exactly as described. Note: The stairs can seem a bit steep for anyone with mobility challenges. Will be back for more lake views!!
