Cozy home near the lake

Great spot near Lake Paw Paw and not too far from Lake Michigan. Served as a nice base of operations for day trips and adventures.

Lovely place!

Such a cute stay. Loved how close it was to the lake and it allowed us to explore all the wineries in the area. The hot tub was great.Angela was extremely communicative and any time we faced any issues she responded pretty quickly. We were even out of dishwasher soap and she delivered some immediately! Working when her was great.It’s an older place with well water and you may find a cricket friend here or there :) frankly out of all possible bugs the crickets were just fine and there is a fridge water filter for drinking but just fyi for those more sensitive to the sulfur water smell and bugs, and also a good thing to keep in mind for leaving the door closed. If those things don’t bother you, it was lovely!

Good stay, Nice host

Overall good stay. Pros: very clean, easy check-in/check-out, lots of towels/blankets/pillows, pet-friendly, responsive/communicative host, well-maintained outdoor area with fire pit, hot tub, and grill. One bedroom upstairs and one bedroom downstairs (both with smart tvs) made for nice separate spaces for kids vs. adults. Not a ton of activities during the off season, but that was kinda the point of our trip! We enjoyed some local hiking and visited Warren Dunes, which was about a 30-minute drive. Remember to bring condiments, seasoning, and corkscrew in addition to your food/bevs. If you forget anything, the Dollar General about 3 minutes from the house has most everything you'd need for a short stay, including groceries. Be prepared for well water and the typical bugs you'd find near wooded/lake areas (spiders, stink bugs, etc).

Great stay

Such a cute little spot for a staycation! Make sure to bring condiments and spices for cooking! Hot tub was great and the beds were super comfy! Lots of extra blankets and towels to make the stay more comfortable! Would definitely go again!!!

Great House For a Quiet Family Getaway

My partner and I stayed here for a nice quiet weekend. The open floor plan of the house accommodated for us perfectly, and I could imagine it would be a great rental for a 5-6 person family… Hot tub and and open yard would be great for the kids as I could imagine. 2 different inside living spaces allow for the kids and adults to have their own separate relaxation times… Check in/out process was a breeze! Only downside of the property is if you are planning on bringing a boat, I would recommend finding somewhere else because the property resides in a neighborhood up a steep hill… Great wineries and breweries within driving distance, good food in the area and of course the beautiful lake! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway.

Perfect girls weekend

My sisters and I stayed here for a girl's weekend. We hit the local wineries and spent a day in St. Joe which was about a 25 minute drive. The accommodations were great for the 3 of us to all have our own beds, the house had plenty of towels and all the basic kitchen items. The hot tub was a nice addition for relaxing at night. Communication with owner was easy with quick replies. Would stay here again!

Nice cottage short walk or a quick drive to a beach. Had a few minor requests and Angela was quick to respond to our needs. Very nice easy to use hot tub. What a wonderful clean place! I love that they opened their home to letting us bring our dogs!!! We spent a long weekend with our kids and enjoyed every minute! The hot tub was a great bonus!

House was clean. Kitchen had good amount of utensils. I didn’t find any bowls with lids. Beds were ok. Hot tub was nice. Brewery in town was great and they had a couple good restaurants. Would be nice to have something at the home for recommendations for restaurants.

Hidden gem

This property was perfect for a weekend couple’s getaway. The amenities are plentiful and in great condition: it has the best beds and the best hot tub of any rental we’ve ever stayed at before! The host was very attentive and responded to messages quickly. The property is in an adorable neighborhood; a short walk to Paw Paw Lake or a quick drive to Lake Michigan. We would love to stay here again!
