I liked that it was easy to access the hotel from the Exit off 89. I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. I did not like that it wasn't safe to walk into town because there is no shoulder on the road. I did not like that the potatoes at breakfast were mixed with the sausage. This is not acceptable to people who do not eat meat.

The only drawback to our convenient location, is that we are on one of the most travelled roads in northern Vermont, which is why we never recommend our guests walking to town. Also, as a Marriott standard, we offer a variety of rotating options for breakfast including gluten free and vegetarian selections. On your next visit, if they are not available, please don't hesitate to ask us for plain potatoes and we'll be happy to provide those!

Very nice hotel. The area is very remote but not unusual for Vermont. We got takeout from a Thai restaurant that was near.

We loved the Fairfield Inn. The manager was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. We spent two nights and it was so quiet! The breakfast in the morning was really tasty, fresh and hot. The dining area was very nice with a fireplace and plenty of room. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Vermont!

Good continental breakfast. Clean hotel. It has a very poor selection of Tv channels. Some friendly and some not so friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom but only lotion and soap as amenities. Coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. Overall is a nice hotel to stay in. Nothing unique but it is clean and everything works in the rooms.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly but the one thing I was looking forward to on this trip was the hot tub and pool as it looked beautiful in the website photos. Got there and the hot tub had a slimy film on it and the pool looked like there was mold on the bottom also looked like it had a slimy film. Very disappointment about this. But the rest of the trip staying at the Fairfield was nice

Outdated and very loud rooms
This is a very old and outdated hotel. The entry and foyer are lovely in the rooms are in very poor condition, the AC unit is old school and run at high hiss. The rooms are very loud, you can hear the Pom above and next to you and everything in the hallway.

Comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast and free fruit and coffee all day. Room 222, forest view. Friendly service. Lots of parking, indoor and outdoor. The thai restaurant accross the street was ok, with generous servings.

Hotel is within 10 minutes or less to Ben & Jerry's, Cabot Store and Cold Hollow Cider Mill and highway entrance is less than 1 mile away. Breakfast was far better than we expected and staff were very friendly and attentive. All spaces were clean and well kept. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This was our second time staying here. The first time was better. The quality of the breakfast was disappointing (OJ machine was out of order, sausage quality and lack of bacon). It was a nice stay but I think we way seek lodging elsewhere next time.

This was my second time staying at this property and I will continue to go back. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the amenities are great, the breakfast is good, and overall it’s a beautiful hotel. Our stay was incredibly comfortable and it was a great option for our summer visit to Stowe.

This was a super clean, convenient, and comfy hotel. We were there in July and it was so hot and humid, and in a hotel era where AC is generally awful this room was excellent. Breakfast was bountiful and did the job. Staff was super friendly, we even forgot a VERY important item at check out and they called us before we reached the highway. Honestly, most places don't bother

Could not have been more satisfied with our stay. My sister and I went to Vermont for a granddaughters graduation. Room was so pleasant. Bed was very very comfortable. Heat easy to regulate. Breakfast excellent. Perfect!

We get there without our credit card and was told we could not stay . No where does it say bring you C/card . We traveled 312 miles and tired . After a very stressful 55 minutes we returned with our Credit card number to manually give . Room rate there 156 .00 we were charged over 100 more through hotels.com A rip off totally. Never again I will be sure to spread the word . Stressful stay cost more than 256- dollars .

I loved this hotel! The location was great - I had a view of the mountains from my bedroom window - and the rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. Our experiences with members of staff were good too, particularly one of the colleague on reception called Hannah. Hannah was on duty both nights we were there and was so helpful and friendly. My dad fell over on the first night near the hotel and she couldn’t do enough to help us.

Absolutely wonderful experience
The stay was amazing. The room was very clean, in a very good condition, comfy bed, bathroom with a large shower. Quiet, despite being right across from the elevator. Wide variety of breakfast offerings. The hotel is located conveniently by I-89, short distances from Ben & Jerry's, local distillery and historic downtown Waterbury. Very friendly staff :)
