This is one of my favorite properties. It feels like home. I enjoy having a full kitchen in which to cook for my family while I am on park. There have been notable improvements to the property over the years, and the quality has never dipped.

Great historic location

My son and his groomsmen stayed in this cottage the night before the wedding. It was just down the street from us and the reception venue. They said they loved the interior, and it reminded them of "old days" lol.

Girls Trip 2025

What an amazing home! Simple antique styling but still very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time together. We try to have a "girls weekend" at least twice a year and this one is at the top of our list. Not only for comfort, but everything you could need in the kitchen was available. And the historic community of Washington was an easy and wonderful walk to explore everywhere. Some of us are even planning on bringing our spouses back in the near future. Wonderful stay at Grace Cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay at Grace Cottage. Sitting on the porch was so peaceful. Loved the historical home and quiet, safe neighborhood in the heart of Old Washington State Park. Home was in excellent condition with everything we needed. Appreciated the scones and coffee. Great communication from the host and easy check-in. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Perfect for solitude

The house is in the tiny town of Washington, which only has one restaurant. The town has many historical buildings and is very walkable. Hope, AR is a ten minute drive away, where there are restaurants, shops, and other attractions. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. I wish I could have stayed longer to take advantage of the house and the area.

Charming and Cozy

Washington Grace Cottage has a warm, inviting feel with some neat history on display. Our family stayed for 1 night and enjoyed the quiet setting of Washington. Check-in was easy, list of rules simple to meet. Bedding and linens were cozy. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a nice plate of scones which was a nice touch. Great stay, thank you!

We are repeat guest. We love Old Washington. Our family roots run deep and we love Grace Cottage. We feel right at home. We get to know Josh and Jamie better each time we stay and consider them friends. Looking forward to our next stay.

Amazing Hosts!!!

Approximately 2 weeks prior to our trip, our host contacted us to let us know that their renovation is still in progress and would not be finished in time. On their own, they contacted a friend who was close by and arranged for us to stay with them instead. They arranged everything for us and put us in contact with Robin, our new host. We did not have to get a refund & re-book, they simply took care of it!!! Our stay was wonderful. We were met by a very friendly black cat. Robin made us homemade blueberry muffins that melt in your mouth and fresh eggs from their hens!! It was quiet and very comfortable. Thank you again to Josh for arranging all of this for us!!!

Very Disappointed

Never got to stay there. Was informed less than week before stay the Grace Cottage was being remodeled and unavailable. The host did offer another house in the country (or lose our deposit) which was clean and very nice hostess, but the location was out in the country. We wanted to stay in Old Washington and enjoy strolls around town. Wish I had known the Grace Cottage was unavailable before I booked!

Personal Touches Even Last Minute

We booked with only a day’s notice, but the chalkboard still greeted us with our name and the Christmas lights were turned on for our arrival. So welcoming. So clean. So ideal. Will be back.

Grace Cottage has a wonderful historic feel that blends well with the ambiance of Washington, AR but has the updates to make it comfortable for current times. The location is perfect for people who want to explore the state park. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels!

Clean, Comfortable Cottage

We enjoyed our weekend stay in your cottage. It was exactly as described in the listing. This comfortable cottage on a quiet street had everything needed to make our time memorable … fluffy towels, warm blankets, a well-appointed ‘country kitchen’ and so much more. We’ll definitely be back!
